Since the 21st century,both society and individuals have put forward higher requirements for education.The Ministry of Education has also clearly pointed out the need to further cultivate students’"subject core literacy" and continuously increase education investment,striving to cultivate more capable talents.In this educational context,the traditional "teacher centered" education method in the past can no longer meet the needs of modern society for talent cultivation,Education reform is imperative.Project based learning is an emerging learning method that allows students to face real-life problems directly in real situations.Students independently construct knowledge and exercise abilities in projects,while promoting the rapid development of core competencies in the subject This learning method has been widely used in primary,secondary,and university education abroad."Reverse engineering" is an engineering design analysis method based on reverse thinking in the course of"General technology".It is a learning method and activity mode based on thinking,practice and innovation in the real world.This study introduces "reverse engineering" into project-based learning in high school physics.In order to further implement interdisciplinary practice,absorb and innovate"reverse engineering",and transform it into a more practical "reverse design" that is more in line with high school physics teaching.Based on specific teaching cases,a project-based learning mode in high school physics will be created,and the effectiveness of case implementation will be analyzed.This paper reviews the development history,research status,and related theoretical foundations of reverse design and project-based learning through literature review.Based on reverse design,three methods of integrating project-based learning with high school physics are used as entry points to construct a project-based learning model and implementation process for high school physics based on reverse design,this provides a practical example for the implementation of project-based learning in high school physics based on reverse design.The results indicate that students agree with the project-based learning method based on reverse design,and project-based learning can effectively complete teaching tasks.Therefore,it is feasible to apply it to high school physics teaching;Project-based learning can help students construct knowledge independently and apply interdisciplinary knowledge,while also enhancing their engineering and scientific thinking,technical awareness,language expression,scientific exploration,and other literacy and abilities.In middle school physics teaching,project-based learning activities based on reverse design can stimulate students’ learning motivation and interest.On the basis of analyzing the case,the research conclusions of this paper were drawn.At the same time,based on my own thinking and feedback in the practical process,the shortcomings of project-based learning based on reverse design in high school physics teaching were pointed out.This also provides reference and further development direction for the follow-up research of project-based learning practice in high school physics based on reverse design.
