With the rapid development of modern network technology and the in-depth reform of basic education curriculum in recent years,the effect of introducing learning games into middle school classrooms is very impressive,and the teaching quality is significantly improved.Introducing learning games into the middle school classroom is a new and bold attempt,which can not only help teachers expand teaching resources,but also increase students’ interest.However,the teaching of ancient poetry has always been an important difficulty in middle school Chinese classroom.The existing teaching methods of ancient poetry are not rich enough,difficult to arouse students’ interest,and dilute the deep meaning and literary value of ancient poetry.If these problems are not solved reasonably,it will seriously affect the overall improvement of middle school students’literary literacy.Therefore,it is very important to improve the teaching method of ancient poetry in middle school.This paper selected the ancient poem "Peach Blossom Land",the first volume of the eighth grade edition of the Human Education Edition,as the teaching content,designed a learning game by using Unity3D,and applied the developed learning game to the real Chinese classroom teaching of ancient poetry,and finally conducted an overall analysis of the obtained data.So as to achieve the purpose of verifying the feasibility of the application of the ancient poetry learning games in the classroom teaching.The main research work of this paper is as follows:First of all,based on the situational cognition theory,constructivism learning theory and other theories,this study planned the design and implementation ideas of junior high school ancient poetry learning games developed by Unity3D.Secondly,before the design and development,the author investigated and analyzed the usage needs of students in the way of questionnaire survey,and proposed the design principles,design objectives and design elements of the game.On this basis,it mainly develops from four aspects:the initial interface of the game,the creation of game characters,the creation of game scenes and the key functions of the game,and launches the game after game testing and debugging.Finally,the application of learning games will be studied.This learning game was tested in experimental classes,and then the effects of the game were analyzed through questionnaires and interviews with teachers.Through data analysis,it is known that the learning game of ancient poetry in junior high school has good learning effect for students and can better promote students’ learning of ancient poetry.However,there are still many shortcomings,which need to be improved constantly in order to achieve better results.
