| Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI)is a transitional stage between normal aging and dementia,and early prevention and intervention are key to alleviating the development of the disease.Older adults with MCI have significantly reduced meaning in life due to impaired memory,reduced spatial directed executive ability,depressed mood distress,and social isolation.At present,in addition to drug treatment,non-drug interventions for cognitive impairment are diverse and effective.This study confirmed the effectiveness of life meaning enhancement group activities in expanding the attitudinal,experiential,historical and creative sources of life meaning for the elderly with MCI by intervening in Shenyang ZY Elderly Care Service Institution,KX Hospital and Suzhou XT Hospital,and can help the clients improve their life meaning. |
