The "Chinese Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education"(2022 edition)has officially established the important position of the "core literacy" of Chinese language,which includes four aspects: "cultural confidence,language application,thinking ability,and aesthetic creation" All four aspects are integrated and indispensable.At the same time,the new curriculum standards place cultural confidence at the top of core competencies,which has profound significance.In the stage of basic education,many disciplines have the characteristics of cultural carriers,and as a basic education discipline,Chinese language bears the important mission of cultivating morality and talent,providing the "main battlefield" for cultivating students’ cultural confidence and literacy.The subject of Chinese has the characteristics of humanism and instrumentality.The instrumentality is mainly to complete the transmission of information through language exchange,that is,to use the national common language to transmit information,so as to cultivate students’ emotional attitude of loving the national common language.The humanistic nature of the Chinese language discipline undertakes the task of cultivating the spirit of "cultural self-confidence",which is mainly to cultivate the moral quality and sound personality of students,improve their ideological and moral cultivation,so that they can form a correct world outlook,outlook on life and values,thus establishing lofty ideals and patriotism,loving the people,loving their families and schools,and contributing their own strength to the socialist modernization.This is the important value of Chinese subject.Therefore,research on how to cultivate "cultural confidence" is an urgent task,a call from society,and a call from the times.The current research on cultivating students’ "cultural confidence" literacy mainly focuses on the teaching of Chinese language courses,ideological and political courses,and history courses in primary and secondary schools,while there is relatively little research on cultivating students’ "cultural confidence" literacy in middle school Chinese language classroom teaching.This article aims to understand the current situation of cultural confidence and literacy education in the teaching process of Chinese language courses in junior high schools,identify the main problems,and provide feasible teaching strategies.This study is divided into three chapters,excluding the introduction and conclusion parts:The first chapter focuses on understanding the current teaching situation of cultivating cultural confidence and literacy in the teaching process of middle school Chinese language courses.It adopts a questionnaire survey from both teachers and students,and then analyzes the survey results.The student questionnaire survey is conducted from four aspects: students’ learning attitude,sources of cultural confidence literacy knowledge,difficulties in learning cultural confidence literacy,and a cultural foundation test question;The teacher questionnaire survey is mainly conducted from the dimensions of teacher teaching content,teaching methods,teaching practice,student reading situation,teaching evaluation,and the cultural confidence and literacy of teachers themselves.The second chapter analyzes the practical problems that arise during the teaching process.From both students and teachers,explore the causes of problems based on the analysis results of the problems.The main problems faced by students include a lack of knowledge reserve,weak reading ability,and a single source of knowledge;In terms of teachers,there are mainly problems such as a single teaching method,a lack of practical teaching activities,inadequate teaching evaluation methods,and a relative lack of teacher research work.Chapter 3 proposes corresponding teaching strategies based on the problems encountered by students and teachers.
