| The rapid development of technology is profoundly changing people’s lives and posing challenges for today’s people. The development of technology cannot be separated from human subjective initiative, nor can it be separated from reasoning and innovation in research. The new curriculum standard points out that we should attach importance to the cultivation of core competencies in the subject and help students form correct concepts and character. As an important component of core cometencies, how to cultivate and evaluate students’ scientific thinking is a question that every teacher needs to consider. This study is based on visual teaching strategy, utilizing methods such as literature research and practical research to explore the cultivation of students’ scientific thinking.Firstly, review the relevant literature on visual teaching and scientific thinking cultivation, gain a deep understanding of the current situation of visual teaching and scientific thinking cultivation, and conduct theoretical research on scientific thinking cultivation, implementation of visual teaching, and evaluation of scientific thinking.Secondly, scientific thinking pretests were conducted on the research subjects, and visual teaching tools were used to implement teaching interventions in the experimental class. Finally, conduct a scientific thinking post test and compare the results of the pre and post tests to summarize the role of visual teaching in the development of students’ scientific thinking. The results indicate that under the intervention of visual teaching, students’ scientific thinking has made great progress, and visual teaching has a promoting effect on the development of students’scientific thinking. At the same time,it also reflects some problems, such as an increase in the dispersion of students’ grades, and some underachievers’ progress is not significant, etc. In short, while visual teaching is helpful for the development of students’ scientific thinking, there are also shortcomings. In teaching,it is necessary to leverage the advantages of visual teaching and avoid its shortcomings in order to achieve the best teaching effect and cultivate students’ scientific thinking. |
