Elastic Integration:A Sociological Study Of Rural Edutainment Practice

With the increasing spiritual and cultural needs of rural people,the government pays more and more attention to the construction of rural public culture.From the perspective of Chinese traditional culture,the construction of contemporary rural public culture is a social enlightenment for the purpose of influencing the people and form moral customs.Historical experience has proved that the effect of educating the people by preaching is not ideal,so edutainment has become the first choice of social enlightenment.In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the practice of edutainment played a vital role in the process of changing customs.However,in the contemporary society,edutainment practice is faced with the dilemma.In order to solving the dilemma,we must study how the practice of edutainment works in the construction of public culture.From a sociological point of view,edutainment practice is a special form of integration.Through the splicing or integration of different social facts,education transforms the external ideas and ideas into a part of the individual consciousness,and forms a flexible ideological integration state in the individual consciousness.This paper calls this as "elastic integration"and attempts to provide a sociological explanation for edutainment practice.In order to clarify the formation process of edutainment practice,this paper sorts out the basic conditions and specific practices of edutainment in Chinese traditional society.Taking the experience of public culture construction in The X village of Shanghai as an example,this paper combines the traditional practice of edutainment to study the way of entertainment from the two aspects of micro mechanism and mechanism of action.The study found that,first of all,edutainment is a flexible form of cultural integration,whose integration degree can be loose or tight.Second,we should look for the path to optimize edutainment practice in order to promote the prosperity of rural public culture construction.In the concrete practice of edutainment,on the one hand,due to the overproduction of emotion,emotional influence mechanism is difficult to run.The Excessive sensationalism in public cultural activities makes the public feel embarrassment.In order to achieve a better integration effect in public cultural construction activities,we should reduce sensationalism.On the other hand,the splicing of the text causes the result that it is difficult to form the focus of attention for a long time.This is reflected in the public cultural construction as serious and stiff political texts directly stitched into the text of public cultural entertainment activities,and they are not integrated.Transforming abstract and grand political texts into concrete and detailed life texts is another important way to alleviate the current dilemma of edutainment.
