General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that "red resources should be used as a vivid teaching material to strengthen ideals and beliefs and party spirit,to tell the story of the party,the story of the revolution,the story of the base,the story of heroes and martyrs,to strengthen education on revolutionary traditions,patriotism and education on the ideology and morality of youth,to pass on the red gene well,and to ensure that the red rivers and mountains never change color."Red culture is a unique culture produced by the Communist Party of China in the process of leading the people to achieve national independence and people’s liberation,which contains the spiritual pursuit of the Chinese nation and represents the spiritual identity of the Chinese nation.And red cultural resources witness the revolutionary history of our people’s bloodshed,have distinct national and political characteristics,highlight the connotation of the times,and also have an important nurturing value.As an old revolutionary region,Guangxi has a large number of red cultural resources with a wide variety and distribution,and they are more suitable for the content of high school ideological and political textbooks.Integrating Guangxi’s red cultural resources into high school ideology and politics classes is conducive to enhancing the attention of schools and teachers to the excavation and utilization of local red cultural resources,increasing the frequency of using Guangxi’s red cultural resources in high school ideology and politics classes,enabling students to form political identity while acquiring knowledge,guiding students to establish patriotism and socialist core values,and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s"It also provides teachers with rich teaching materials.At the same time,it provides teachers with rich teaching materials and facilitates the development of curriculum resources.Therefore,the integration of Guangxi’s red cultural resources into high school ideology and politics courses is worthy of study.In this paper,teachers and students of two senior high schools in Nanning City,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are taken as the subjects of investigation,and the integration of Guangxi red culture resources into high school ideology and politics classes is investigated through student questionnaires and teacher interviews.The practice of developing Guangxi red cultural resources needs to be improved,teachers’ ability to use Guangxi red cultural resources is limited,and students’ interest in Guangxi red cultural resources is not high.The main reasons for these problems are that schools do not invest enough in developing Guangxi red cultural resources,teachers’ level of using Guangxi red cultural resources needs to be improved,and students’ immature physical and mental development.Considering the above problems and reasons,according to the requirements of the general high school ideological and political curriculum standards and following the principles that should be adhered to in the integration of Guangxi red cultural resources into the teaching of high school ideological and political science classes,we can put forward the three aspects of increasing school support to guarantee the effective integration of Guangxi red cultural resources;adopting various teaching methods to enrich classroom teaching;playing the main role of students to improve their classroom participation;and these three specific application strategies.
