The report to the Party’s 20 th National Congress in 2022 stressed the importance of promoting cultural confidence and self-improvement.The Ministry of Education has put forward specific requirements for the introduction of Chinese excellent traditional culture and revolutionary culture into classrooms for all subjects in primary and secondary schools.The basic principles of Geography Curriculum Standards for senior high schools also emphasize the importance of inheriting and developing the excellent culture of China.Regional culture is the work and experience formed by the interaction between man and land in the historical period,and it is a part of the excellent traditional culture of China.The regional culture of Baise city contains colorful ethnic culture,passionate red culture,long history and culture,which contains rich educational value and is an important geography curriculum resource.In order to strengthen the teachers and students’ understanding of the regional culture of Baise,increase the feelings of home and country and self-confidence of ethnic culture,inherit and carry forward the excellent ethnic culture,it is particularly important to integrate the regional culture of Baise into the geography teaching of high school.Based on humanism,constructivism and Tao Xingzhi’s life education theory,this paper uses literature research method to sort out the research status at home and abroad,and lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Questionnaire survey and interview are used to investigate teachers and students of middle school,and it is found that students do not have a comprehensive understanding of the regional culture of Baise and teachers do not explore the regional culture curriculum resources.Based on this,the paper analyzes the regional culture curriculum resources of Baise,puts forward the strategy of integrating regional culture into geography teaching,and designs two teaching cases with the action research method: The first is a teaching case of geography in high school titled "Comprehensive Management of Ecologically Fragile Areas--Taking the Rocky Desertification Area of Baise as an Example";the second is a practical case of geography research travel in high school with the theme of "Red City Baise Beautiful Countryside" extended by lesson examples.The teaching practice research is carried out and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Regional culture is closely related to geography and students’ life.It is an important teaching resource,which is of great significance in cultivating students’ feelings of home and country,establishing correct emotional awareness and enhancing students’ cultural confidence.(2)The regional culture of Baise is characterized by diversity,regionalism and inheritance,with rich educational resources and values.The integration of Baise regional culture into geography teaching can stimulate students’ interest in learning,promote students’ understanding of knowledge,effectively cultivate students’ core quality of geography,and increase students’ understanding and love of hometown culture.(3)The development of curriculum resources is the premise of the integration of regional culture and geography teaching.The exploration of curriculum resources of regional culture and geography should be based on curriculum standards,learning conditions and teaching materials.(4)The application of regional culture in high school geography teaching should follow the principles of life,goal,appropriateness and practice,and adopt such strategies as selecting regional cultural content based on curriculum standards,respecting students’ main position,skillfully using teaching methods,attaching importance to the value of geographical practice activities,paying attention to diversified teaching evaluation and improving teachers’ own regional cultural literacy. |
