Regional geography is one of the components of geographic content and a component of the geographic knowledge system.Regional geography has a wide range of knowledge,covering geographic elements and knowledge of physical geography and human geography.Psychological map is the internalization of the realistic map in the user's mind,and its application has a strong practical significance for the teaching and learning of regional geography.This paper takes the psychological map as the main line to explore the application of psychological maps in regional geography teaching.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the literature research method and inductive summarization method are used to summarize the research background and current situation of psychological map.Secondly,it analyzes the relationship between psychological map and regional geography,and discusses the necessity of applying psychological map in regional geography teaching.Thirdly,the questionnaire survey method is used to investigate and analyze the current situation of map use in high school geography teaching.Finally,combined with the specific case design,the construction of psychological maps is applied to teaching.The construction strategy of this paper starts with the design idea,takes the basic principle of strategy construction as the main guide,discusses three concrete strategies for constructing the psychological map,and applies the psychological map to the regional geography in combination with the specific teaching case design.The basic conclusions of this paper are: Psychological map,also known as "map in the brain",is the integration,preservation and reproduction of various types of maps in the brain,and ultimately reflects the thinking performance.Psychological map can guide the design of teachers' teaching activities,strengthen the connection of students' regional geographic knowledge,promote the improvement of students' geographic knowledge system,and improve students' regional cognitive ability.Due to the comprehensiveness and complexity of regional geographic knowledge,regional geography is more difficult in the process of teaching and learning.Psychological maps help to classify and systematize knowledge in order to enhance students' ability to acquire geographic knowledge and further promote the developmentof students' problem-solving skills and geographic thinking.
