With the development of the times and the progress of society,a growing number of people concerned about their inner world,and the sense of happiness is greatly valued.This study aims to investigate the influence of mother’s parenting style on the subjective well-being of high school students and the internal mechanism of the relationship between the two from the family level,in order to address the phenomenon of low subjective well-being of high school students.A survey was conducted on 921 high school students in Guangxi using self-acceptance questionnaire,mother’s parenting style questionnaire,and subjective well-being questionnaire to explore the influence of mother’s parenting style on high school students’ subjective well-being and the role of self-acceptance between the two,and the following conclusions were obtained.(1)The overall subjective well-being level of high school students is moderately high,among which on specific levels,the cognitive level of life satisfaction is at a moderate to high level,the emotional-emotional level of positive emotions is moderately high,the level of negative emotions is moderate,and there are more positive emotions than negative emotions;from the situation of mother’s parenting style,the emotional warmth score is the highest,the overprotective score is the second,and the rejection score is the lowest,and most high school students The majority of high school students perceived the warm emotional parenting style;in terms of self-acceptance level,high school students’ self-acceptance was in the middle to upper level.(2)In terms of gender differences,the overall subjective well-being and self-acceptance levels of male students were higher than those of female students.In specific dimensions,the level of positive emotion,over-protection of mothers,self-acceptance and self-evaluation of boys is higher than that of girls.In terms of grade differences,there are significant differences in subjective well-being and mother’s upbringing tendency.There are significant grade differences in life satisfaction,positive emotion,mother’s emotional warmth and self-evaluation.(3)Maternal parenting tendency and maternal warmth were significantly and positively correlated with self-acceptance and subjective well-being,while maternal rejection and maternal overprotection were significantly and negatively correlated with self-acceptance and subjective well-being,and the relationship between self-acceptance and subjective well-being showed a highly significant positive correlation.(4)Self-acceptance partially mediated the effects of maternal rejection,emotional warmth,and overprotection on subjective well-being,with the mediating effects accounted for 58.34%,43.24% and 67.01% respectively.The results showed that there was a pairwise correlation among the three factors,and selfacceptance played a mediating role in the relationship between maternal parenting style and subjective well-being.Based on this,the author puts forward some suggestions: strengthen the consciousness of the mother’s responsibility to promote the healthy development of the child’s body and mind;Appropriate implementation of appreciation education,improve children’s selfacceptance level;Make full use of positive parenting methods to enhance children’s subjective well-being.
