The course of ideological and political education is an educational concept that aims to integrate ideological and political education into various disciplines,making it possible for students to receive ideological and political education while learning knowledge.It is also a fundamental task in implementing the goal of fostering students’ moral character.Implementing the concept of "Ideological and Political Education" in the middle school physics curriculum is an effective way to cultivate students’ core physics literacy,help them gain a deep understanding of the nature of physics,and improve their ability to solve practical problems and overall quality.However,current research shows that the exploration of ideological and political elements in middle school physics is relatively fragmented and lacks systematicness.Based on this,this study uses literature review and analysis to understand the research of domestic and foreign scholars on the ideological and political elements in physics curriculum,and combines the meanings of the elements of moral education in primary and secondary schools and the core literacy of middle school physics to preliminarily formulate a framework for the dimensions of ideological and political elements in middle school physics.On this basis,in order to further improve the framework,the Delphi expert consultation method is used to revise and improve the framework,and finally,the final framework for the dimensions of ideological and political elements in middle school physics is obtained.Finally,the determined framework for the dimensions of ideological and political elements in middle school physics is combined with the ideological and political resources content in the physics textbook,and the text analysis method is used to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the presentation of ideological and political resources content in the People’s Education Press middle school physics textbook,and to provide suggestions for using the textbook.Using the methods of literature research and Delphi expert consultation,the framework for the dimensions of ideological and political elements in middle school physics ultimately consists of three primary dimensions and twelve secondary dimensions.The primary dimensions are composed of educational philosophy,scientific literacy,and personal qualities;the secondary dimensions include dialectical materialism,historical materialism,Marxist epistemology,questioning and innovation,rigorous scholarship,scientific reasoning,lifelong learning,patriotic sentiment,unity and cooperation,ideal faith,social responsibility,and international understanding.The meanings of each ideological and political element are specifically described in this study.Based on the final framework,the author analyzed the presentation of ideological and political resources content in three People’s Education Press middle school physics textbooks.The ideological and political resources content in the textbooks mainly includes ideological and political education content in the dimensions of educational philosophy,scientific literacy,and personal qualities.Among them,the personal qualities dimension has the most ideological and political resources content,accounting for about 46%.The quantity of ideological and political resources content in the educational philosophy and scientific literacy dimensions is roughly the same,each accounting for about 27%.This shows that the middle school physics curriculum emphasizes the cultivation of personal qualities,not only imparting knowledge and skills,but also emphasizing the cultivation of students’ moral character,thinking quality,and physical and mental health,reflecting the educational concept of people-oriented education.The ideological and political resources content in the textbook is mainly presented in the main text,followed by the scientific world,and there are also some in the "think and do","hands-on learning physics",and STS columns.The ideological and political resources content covered in these columns includes knowledge,supplements,methods,situations,backgrounds,and extensions.Middle school physics emphasizes contextual teaching,so the ideological and political resources content is mostly presented in the form of situational types,which are closely related to physics knowledge,making it easy for students to understand and experience.This study constructs a framework system for the dimensions of ideological and political elements in junior high school physics and analyzes the junior high school physics textbooks to understand the content of the ideological and political elements and the presentation of ideological and political resources in the textbooks.It provides valuable reference for the development of ideological and political education in junior high school physics teaching.
