| This paper selects the dynamic monitoring data of the floating population in 2017,based on sustainable livelihood framework theory and push and pull theory, takes rural-urban floating population groups as the research object and empirically explores the impact of livelihood capital on the intention of rural-urban floating population to settle down through the binary logistic regression model. The results show that the living capital status of the rural-urban floating population is general, and the intention of settling down is low;and livelihood capital has an obvious effect on the intention of rural-urban floating population to settle down, but there are differences in the direction and degree of specific dimensions and variables, which are as follows: In human capital, education level has a significant positive correlation with rural-urban floating population’s intention to settle down, while health status has no significant impact. In terms of social capital, the greater the heterogeneity of the objects of social interaction, the greater the number of participants in social activities, the higher the frequency of participation in social affairs, and the longer the number of years without returning home, the stronger the intention of the rural-urban floating population to settle down.In the material capital, the relationship between urban housing condition and rural-urban floating population’s intention to settle down is nonlinear.Homesteads in the hometown significantly reduce the rural-urban floating population’s intention of settling down, however,in terms of ownership, the intention of settling down becomes more and more intense as the area of homestead increases. In financial capital, the prominent effect of floating individuals’ wage income on their intention to settle down will be dissipated by other capital.Collective dividend,as a pulling factor of outflow place, reduces the intention of rural-urban floating population to settle down, but it is not significant. The contracted land area as natural capital is negatively correlated with the rural-urban floating population’s intention to settle down.On the basis of above research findings, this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions. In the field of cities, firstly, change the way of thinking and promote the settlement and local citizenization of those who want to;Secondly, accurate positioning, taking into account urban development and the wishes of the floating groups to formulate targeted policies;Third,we should supervise the implementation and strengthen the implementation and evaluation of differentiated Hukou policies in different types of cities. In terms of livelihood capital, firstly, deepen the accumulation of human capital and improve the level of human capital;Second, break the traditional social capital structure and reconstruct the social capital network;Third, the establishment of multiple housing security system, tamping urban material capital;Fourth, expand diversified financial support mode and expand the scale of financial capital;Fifth, improve the rural land exit mechanism to reduce dependence on natural capital. |
