The In recent years,the rapid development of physical education in our schools has also put forward higher requirements for the quality of students.However,due to the final evaluation requirements of the enrollment rate of cultural courses,many primary and secondary schools often choose to sacrifice the time of sports activities in exchange for the improvement of the learning score of cultural courses,so that the physical quality of students has declined year by year.In order to change this situation,the state has introduced various policies,but these activities sometimes stay in the plan,the schedule,in fact,the class time or sports activities are often occupied or replaced by cultural class learning,the reality of "what to test,what to learn" forced the state to choose the way of physical education to strengthen the school physical education work,enhance students’ physical quality.Under the dual pressure of the mandatory requirements of the year-end physical fitness test and the gradual improvement of the scores of the physical education in the middle and high schools,the physical education in the middle schools pays more attention to improving the test scores to ensure that students enter the next stage of learning more smoothly.The study named the phenomenon that schools organized and planned special training to strengthen test items in A period of time before the test in order to ensure the excellent results of students’ physical fitness test or physical education examination,and even replaced the content of physical education class and recess exercise in the curriculum plan with the test content,and took the junior middle school in A city as the case for the next study.This study takes the phenomenon of "measuring the body" as the research object and junior middle schools in A city as the investigation object.Through literature research,questionnaire survey,expert interview and field observation and other research methods,and drawing on the thinking mode of qualitative research,this study discusses the phenomenon of "measuring the body" in the physical education work of junior middle schools in A city.Understand its reasons,advantages and disadvantages until the corresponding optimization strategy is proposed.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The 26 junior middle schools in A city surveyed in this study generally have the phenomenon of "measuring the body in the future",and will actively strengthen the existence of this phenomenon in some special periods(such as the eve of the year-end test,the eve of the physical education examination).(2)The emergence of the phenomenon of "measuring the body" is closely related to the reality of the development of physical education in schools,the strengthening of national supervision and the common desire to pursue excellent results.The specific reasons include the encroachment of physical education time in the exam-oriented education environment,the decline of students’ physical fitness year by year,the change in the weight of physical education high school examination(gradually increased to 100 points),and the physical fitness test has become an important evaluation index of school performance assessment,and the source of the pursuit of high scores.(3)The phenomenon of "measuring the body" has two sides,it has the advantages of enhancing the physical quality of students,guaranteeing the time of physical activity of students,improving the status of physical education in schools and quantifying the teaching achievements of teachers.There are also shortcomings such as neglecting the overall development of sports,failing to give full play to students’ sports expertise and affecting the normal teaching of physical education.(4)Based on the investigation and analysis of the phenomenon of "measuring the body",and combined with the actual situation of A city,three optimization strategies are proposed:Strategy 1: Starting from the fundamental idea,strengthen the sports concept of all-round development,change the thought of "valuing intelligence over body" through social propaganda and policy guidance,and standardize the effect of policies on upward action and downward action.Strategy two: Optimize the construction of physical education curriculum,carry out class based physical education teaching and create project courses for students to choose,to ensure that students can master one or more sports skills and cultivate their moral character while strengthening their physical fitness.Strategy three: To innovate the school physical education evaluation system,on the basis of physical health evaluation,strengthen the overall evaluation of school physical education and establish the test mode of "basic physical quality + special physical quality",so as to promote the transformation of "physical fitness test" to "physical test" so as to achieve the purpose of promoting the all-round development of students.(5)As a common phenomenon in our school physical education at present,the phenomenon of "measuring the body of the body" exists all over the school section.Under the guidance of the idea of score supremacy,the phenomenon will inevitably appear in the process of school physical education,but it is so that school physical education will continue to develop,so we should look at the phenomenon rationally and objectively,check the gaps,and truly contribute to the development of school physical education in the future.
