Because of the special status,the group of de facto unattended children has not attracted much attention for a long time.In recent years,with the media exposing a series of tragic lives of de facto unattended children,this group has gradually entered the public’s field of vision,and the related security system has also begun to accelerate the improvement process.Due to the lack of major family members,de facto unattended children lack the care and guidance from their families,long-term lack of interpersonal communication,being marginalized by social groups,and lack of self-confidence,which affects normal social integration and is not conducive to the healthy physical and mental growth of de facto unattended children.Under the guidance of the professional value of helping others and helping themselves,social work can guide the de facto unattended children to master the ability of interacting with others by helping them learn interpersonal skills,providing a platform for them to participate in social activities and enhancing their social support,so as to achieve the goal of integrating into society and growing up healthily.In this paper,Xiao C,a de facto unattended children in Y community of Chongqing,is selected as the research object,and case work method is used to intervene.The research adopts the methods of interview and observation to investigate the social integration of the de facto unattended children in Y community,and analyzes the social integration of the de facto unattended children from three levels: individual,family and society.In the process of case development,the service for the case owner was carried out in six stages under the guidance of social integration theory and social support theory,from improving self-awareness and enhancing psychological integration;Relieve the tense family relationship and strengthen family support;Correct learning attitude and improve learning ability;Participate in community activities to enhance the integration of peer groups;Participating in voluntary service activities and promoting interpersonal adaptation have carried out many activities and talks.In the course of case development,assisted by inviting the case owner to participate in community activities and volunteer service activities,the author exercised the case owner’s interpersonal skills,enhanced self-confidence and social support,and achieved good results.In the later period of service,the service effect was comprehensively evaluated by three ways: satisfaction evaluation of the case owner,comparison of target completion and family evaluation.The research believes that the case work method can effectively alleviate the social integration of the de facto unattended children.
