The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the New Curriculum Standards)emphasizes that graphics should be studied from the perspective of motion,geometric transformation should be understood and understood,and geometric transformation should be used to solve geometric problems.In this process,reasoning ability should be formed,thinking level of geometric transformation should be improved,and spatial concepts and geometric intuitions should be developed.To achieve the purpose of cultivating mathematics core literacy.According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,and combined with Van Hill theory,the eighth grade geometric transformation thinking is cultivated.The thinking level of geometric transformation is the operational level reached by students through the observation,decomposition,synthesis and imagination of geometric figures by using geometric transformation in the process of problem solving.After collecting and sorting out relevant literature,this paper finds that there are relatively few researches on the level of geometric transformation thinking.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out experimental research on the level of geometric transformation thinking in eighth grade for improving the teaching of geometric transformation thinking level.To investigate the current situation of the eighth grade students’ thinking level of geometric transformation,to understand the students’ attitude and thinking level of geometric transformation.This study is based on the new curriculum standard,Van Hill theory,combined with the research results of Jiang Ziwen,Du Ying,W.Berger and Q.Szughnessy to divide the dimensions.Based on the framework,using Geometric Transformation by Jiang Ziwen and Long Zebin for reference,subject network topics and opinions from experts and teachers,the test paper was compiled.On this basis,a small number of students were tested to verify the science and rationality of the topic,and the test paper was modified and improved,and finally a formal test was carried out.Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that the eighth grade students do not have a positive attitude towards geometric transformation,and the thinking level of geometric transformation is not optimistic.According to the test results of the current situation,the eighth grade students geometric transformation analysis;(3)Analysis of answers of Grade 8 students at different levels;(4)Analysis of translation and axisymmetric transformation answers of Grade 8 students(5);The correlation analysis of eighth grade students’ thinking level of geometric transformation and students’ ordinary scores;(6)Difference analysis of geometric transformation thinking level of students at different levels.According to the problems existing in the current investigation,this study conducted a case study on the geometric transformation thinking level of eighth grade students.Firstly,the training stage is divided into four stages.This study tries to practice the theory to cultivate students’ thinking level of geometric transformation,and carries out post-test on the cultivated students.Whether the post-test scores of the students cultivated by SPSS25.0 case have been improved? By comparing the post-test test papers of the cultivated objects,it can be concluded that the geometric transformation thinking level of the cultivated objects has been improved,which also indicates that the cultivation program refined according to Van Hill theory is helpful to the improvement of the geometric transformation thinking level of the eighth grade students.The corresponding data was obtained after the geometric transformation test paper.The average score of the cultivated students was higher than that before the experiment,and the analysis drew a conclusion:According to the data obtained from the post-test paper,the average score of the experimental class is higher than that of the control group.Through further analysis,the experimental conclusion can be summarized as follows:(1)The mastery of geometric transformation concept has improved in the eighth grade.(2)The cultivation of geometric transformation thinking level of eighth grade students based on Van Hill theory is conducive to the improvement of geometric transformation thinking.(3)Students at level 2 and level 3 have significantly improved their scores,that is,Van Hill theory is more effective in improving the geometric transformation thinking level of middle students in grade 8 than poor students.(4)The combination of Van Hill theory and modern technology is conducive to the cultivation of eighth grade students’ geometric transformation thinking level.In addition,in the process of training students’ thinking level of geometric transformation,effective teaching suggestions are summarized to provide reference for front-line teachers.
