| Since reform and opening up,China’s industrialization and urbanization continue to accelerate,has gained a pivotal international status in international strategies.However,a series of environmental pollution incidents are ringing ecological alarm bells,faced with increasingly serious environmental problems such as Atmospheric Deposition Pollution,Marine Microplastic Pollution,Heavy Metal Pollution of Soil,China gives priority to ecological progress in its overall work,seek harmonious coexistence between human beings and the natural environment.In June 2018,the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council issued a guideline to resolutely win the battle to protect blue sky,clear water and clean land[1],set off the climax of environmental remediation work.In all disciplines,geography is an important carrier of environmental education because of its essential connection with natural environment.In order to comply with the requirements of social development and talent training,《Geography Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017Edition)》for the first time put forward the concept of human-earth coordination as one of the four core qualities of geography,it is clearly required to train students to correctly view the interaction between geographical environment and human activities,form an attitude of respecting nature and harmonious development[2].In order to effectively carry out environmental education,this paper takes 2019Compulsory teaching material of Hunan Education Edition as the research object,using literature research,questionnaire survey,practice research and other methods,carding and analyzing the content of environmental education in books,and summarize its characteristics;The principles and strategies of environmental teaching are put forward on the basis of understanding the environmental literacy and behavior attitude of teachers and students,design teaching cases to implement teaching,explore the effective methods of environmental education.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,on the basis of the textbook surface system analysis theory,analyze the environmental education content in the compulsory teaching material of Hunan Edition,it has the following characteristics:(1)Extensive use of geographic landscape maps,enhance students’intuitive feeling;(2)Pay attention to inquiry in the situation,edify emotion in practice;(3)Pay attention to the environmental problems around us and cultivate a sense of responsibility;(4)Pay attention to environmental problems,cultivate dialectical thinking;(5)Environmental education is rich in content and leads to sublimation of environmental emotion;(6)Pay attention to the influence of environment on human,cultivate the concept of harmony between human and earth.Therewith,suggestions are put forward for teachers to use textbooks:(1)Integrating teaching materials and developing thematic environmental education;(2)Skillfully use life cases to enrich the content of environmental education in books;(3)With the help of film and television resources,the content of teaching materials is given vividness;(4)Set up practice activities,practice the practical value of teaching materials;(5)Flexible processing of teaching materials,add characteristics of The Times.Secondly,based on the above theoretical research and the investigation of the status quo of teachers and students,puts forward the principles of environmental teaching:(1)Create a life-like situation;(2)Teaching space opening;(3)Teaching materials lively;(4)Geography textbook integration;(5)Emotion sublimation timely.On this basis,the teaching strategies of environmental education are further constructed:(1)Comprehensive realizing of environmental characteristics,and set goals based on the curriculum standard;(2)Read the environmental content of the textbook,add appropriate material cases;(3)Create the environmental situation properly,sublimate the emotion in the situation;(4)Set hierarchy environment issue;(5)Summarize the context in time,promote emotional sublimation at the right time;(6)Application environment knowledge return to reality,use emotion to promote behavior.Finally,through the environmental teaching strategy proposed in this paper,design and implement teaching cases of《Soil Formation》,optimized the teaching steps on the basis of teaching reflection.Design"How much soil environment know"topic test paper,analyze the answers of the students in the experimental class and the control class,demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the environmental education teaching strategy proposed in this paper. |
