Curriculum reform will promote the renewal of curriculum content,and the renewal of curriculum content is often reflected in the updating of teaching materials.Therefore,the reform of teaching materials reflects the effectiveness of curriculum reform to a certain extent.By comparing the old and new high school geography textbooks(Hunan Education Edition): On the one hand,we can understand the characteristics of changes in the new textbooks and analyze the concepts and content of the curriculum reform to a certain extent,effectively improving the level of knowledge of middle school geography teachers on the laws of my country's geography curriculum reform and development.;On the other hand,it can deepen the understanding of geography teachers on the development and changes of geography curriculum content,and provide method guidance for geography teachers to use new teaching materials.This research takes middle school geography teachers as the research object,takes senior high school geography compulsory 1 new and old textbook(Hunan Education Edition)as the research model,combined with comparative analysis method,questionnaire survey method and other methods,analyzes the changes of the old and new textbooks,and studies the new and old geography.The current situation of the use of teaching materials and the existing problems,and the strategies for the use of new teaching materials are proposed.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the literature survey method,we sorted out and selected the comparative analysis methods and contents of the new and old textbooks.Taking the Hunan Education Edition Geography Compulsory 1as an example,the textbook compilation concept,text system,image system and activity system were compared and analyzed.The results show that the new textbooks have the following characteristics: from the perspective of compilation concept,the curriculum orientation changes from student learning needs to core literacy training,literacy training from general to specific,and education requirements from knowledge-based to development-based;from the text system perspective,The selection of the new textbook content tends to be life-oriented,reflecting the characteristics of the times,the content organization is more reasonable,the columns are flexible,the accuracy of text presentation is improved,and the image is vivid;from the perspective of the image system,the number of images in the new textbook has increased,and the image is intuitive The proportion has increased,and more attention has been paid to image combination;from the perspective of the activity system,the number of new textbook activities has been adjusted,the layout of activities has been optimized,and the ability to direct activities has improved.Through the design of questionnaires,the current situation of the use of new textbooks is investigated and researched,and the possible problems in its use are analyzed.The survey results show that: the changes in the new textbooks are conducive to the development of the times and the cultivation of geographic literacy;the content of the new textbooks is detailed,reasonable layout,and diverse columns;the new textbooks have rich image resources,intuitive images and high utilization;the new textbook activities are innovative and exploratory,Facilitate teaching;but teachers should flexibly interpret teaching materials,change concepts,and adjust methods.(2)Through the design of questionnaires,the current situation of the use of new textbooks is investigated and researched,and the possible problems in its use are analyzed.The survey results are as follows: The changes in the new textbooks are conducive to the development of the times and the cultivation of geographic literacy;the content of the new textbooks is detailed,reasonable in arrangement,and diverse columns;the new textbooks have rich image resources,intuitive images and high utilization;the new textbook activities are innovative and exploratory,Facilitate teaching;but teachers should flexibly interpret teaching materials,change concepts,and adjust methods.(3)In response to the above analysis and investigation and research,try to propose strategies for the use of new textbooks: internalize the concept of textbook compilation and change the concept of textbook use;focus on the teaching goals of geography and select the text system from multiple perspectives;deepen the characteristics of the geographical subject and optimize the image system at a level;gather Multi-party teaching resources,exploring the activity system both inside and outside the class.
