The development of students’ geographical thinking is an important goal of geography teaching.To cultivate students’ geographical thinking,we must pay attention to the process performance of students’ geography learning,and promote the development of students’ geographical thinking by carrying out the evaluation of students’ thinking structure to evaluate and feedback,which is a hot spot in geography teaching today.Geography-themed teaching,through the continuous in-depth exploration of the theme problems,to achieve the purpose of exercising students’ thinking development.Therefore,this study attempts to integrate the evaluation of thinking structure into the teaching of geography themes,and provides a reference and practical strategy for effectively promoting the development of students’ comprehensive geographical thinking.(1)Through consulting a large number of literature,this study carefully sorts out the research results of the evaluation of thinking structure and thematic teaching at home and abroad,and summarizes the results of the previous research,mainly including: the research on the theory and application of theory and examination questions of the evaluation of the thinking structure,and the research on the connotation,concept and practical process of thematic teaching.However,there is a lack of theoretical or practical research on the integration of thinking structure evaluation and geographical thematic teaching,which determines the direction of this research.At the same time,based on the literature research method,the relationship between the evaluation of mental structure and the teaching of geographical themes is summarized and analyzed,and the research is promoted.(2)Through the questionnaire survey method,this study designed a questionnaire for teachers,with the purpose of understanding the current situation of high school geography theme teaching application with integrated thinking structure evaluation.The results of the questionnaire were analyzed and the following problems were found: geography teachers had little understanding and practice of thinking structure evaluation,and the thematic teaching was only a preliminary exploration stage,and the geographical theme teaching that integrated mental structure evaluation was not tried to be implemented.This accurately locates the research direction for this study,and provides a realistic basis for the high school geography theme teaching research that integrates the evaluation of thinking structure,which has strong practical significance.(3)Combined with the literature review and application status,guided by constructivist theory and SOLO classification theory,this study proposes the following implementation strategies for high school geography theme teaching that integrates thinking structure evaluation:select geographical theme materials;establish theme teaching objectives;create geographical theme contexts;design theme exploration problems;implement the cultivation of comprehensive thinking;carry out knowledge transfer and application;and implement thinking structure evaluation.(4)Through the case analysis method and the classroom observation method,this study designed a teaching example based on implementation strategy and conducted practical inquiry.The practical results of the lesson example show that the implementation strategy of high school geography theme teaching with the evaluation of thinking structure has certain rationality and feasibility,and after exploring the theme problems in the classroom,the core literacy of students such as geographical comprehensive thinking level has been significantly improved,and the level of geography learning has been greatly improved.
