| With the development of teaching reform,project-based teaching,as an innovative learn ing method,has emerged gradually.It advocates that students solve problems and generate wo rks through teamwork in real situations,and practice and learn in projects.The purpose of this study is to explore the feasible project-based teaching model suitable for the geography curric ulum of Chinese high school and to implement the students’ practical ability.Through literatur e review and summary,this paper defines the concepts of project,project-based teaching and geographical practical ability literacy as well as the relevant theoretical basis for the research.It also carries out a survey on the current high school situation,constructs the corresponding model,and carries out the application test on the model.The main results are as follows:(1)T hrough questionnaire and interview survey,it is found that students’ problems in the project te aching process mainly include unclear operation of the project process and relying on teachers’ guidance;teachers’ problems mainly include unfamiliar with the project teaching model,diffi cult to choose the topic,difficult to implement and difficult to evaluate.According to the prob lems,five improvement strategies are proposed,including starting from short-term projects,forming project-style teaching community,forming perfect project plan,making teaching obj ectives and evaluation measures consistent with teaching evaluation,and integrating geograph ical concepts.(2)Combining the problems and improvement strategies from the actual investig ation,the characteristics of geography curriculum,the theoretical basis of project-based teachi ng,the principles and objectives of the construction of the project-based teaching model,the s even-link project-based teaching model pointing to the practical ability of geography is constr ucted.(3)Combining theory with practice and high school geography courses,the model is ap plied to project-style teaching design and implementation with the theme of "Surface morphol ogy and human activities according to local conditions".Finally,teaching evaluation was carr ied out through the evaluation scale of geography practical ability literacy level and student int erviews.From the evaluation results,it can be seen that the application of this teaching model to carry out project-oriented teaching has a certain effect on improving students’ geography pr actical ability literacy,and this model can better help teachers design and implement project-o riented teaching oriented to geography practical ability literacy. |
