With the improvement of the current level of science and technology,China has entered the information age of education.The Internet,big data and artificial intelligence technology have become the research focus of education institutions.In recent years,the competition in the education market has become more and more fierce due to the continuous strengthening of the supervision of the private education industry and the rational investment strategy of the capital market.In this context,private education industry has a new pattern.The TAL(Tomorrow Advancing Life)educational group,after 17 years of development,has remained relatively leading position.It is a representative comprehensive education group in such aspects as the market prospect,the development strategy,and technology reform.At the same time the opportunities and challenges which it encounters,to a certain extent,also reflects the current situation and trend of development of the education industry in China.However,due to the fierce competition in the K12 online education market and the low pricing of online courses,the market profit and resource investment of TAL online business differ greatly.On the other hand,although it covers a wide range of fields,the distribution of core business resources is not balanced,resulting in the failure of coordinated development.To solve the problems mentioned above,this paper takes TAL as the research target,with the theory of diversification,Internet education theory,the macro environment,industry environment and internal environment,etc,as the breakthrough point.Optimization strategy and safeguard measures are put forward step by step after the SWOT analysis.And diversification strategy is concluded for the TAL to adopt.At the same time,the future development of domestic private education industry is studied.In view of the current problems of less theoretical research on the development of private education institutions and lack of timeliness,this paper captures the data released in blue books of the education industry in recent years,analyzes the development trend of the education industry,and ensures the data rigor.Combined with the characteristics of the Internet and education industry,this paper studies the influence of information technology on the education market from a new perspective,points out the shortcomings of the diversified development of Good future Group and puts forward optimization suggestions.Besides,research and discussion on children’s programming,STEAM education and other aspects enrich the choices and opportunities of diversified development strategy of TAL education group.
