| With the reform of China’s education system and the change of teaching mode,campus construction tends to be more open and intensive,and the teaching method of schools is also changing from passive indoctrination to active absorption.The teaching environment of colleges and universities is no longer limited to campus space,and the campus environment is no longer only for students to provide education.The interaction between colleges and society will become more and more frequent with the development of The Times.As an important part of cultural interaction and communication,the university expo building also conforms to the trend of campus opening,realizes the operation mode of directly facing the society,and extends the object of use from the campus to the society.As the types of users increase,their behaviors and needs become more diversified and complex,it is difficult to meet the needs of users only through the design of more perfect exhibition space.In order to form an efficient and sustainable organic whole of university expo buildings,the role of non-exhibition space is bound to be paid attention to.In this background,this article to expo construction of exhibition space in colleges and universities as the research object,firstly analyzed the development of exhibition space,summarizes the functions and characteristics of the space,analyzes the difference between space and social expo architectural space,space,the use of the present situation and development trend,the link between space and behavior patterns,etc.And environmental behavior and environmental psychology as a theoretical basis for selecting typical universities expo architectural field investigation,through the field observation,behavior note,interview and questionnaire methods respectively to various types of building space and space users behavior distribution,the types of behavior,behavior and so on has carried on the detailed record and analysis,Then,according to the investigation,the user behavior and the design of each spatial element in the building are analyzed and summarized.Finally,on the basis of the space research and behavior research mentioned above,this paper summarizes the design points of non-exhibition space of exhibition buildings in universities and takes the art museum design of Qingdao campus of Shandong Institute of Arts and Crafts as an example to apply the research results to practical projects.Through the research of this paper,the author hopes to construct the humanoriented theory of university expo building space design,and further improve the relevant research of China’s university expo building space design,in order to have a certain reference value for the design or discussion of new or expanded university expo building under the new situation. |
