| The application of information technology in education has promoted the evolution of the teaching mode.Massive Open Online Course(MOOC)is a new online education mode that attracts increasing users and promotes the popularization of education resources with its shared, concise, and attractive features.Accelerating the development of education informatization is a strong support for comprehensively promoting education modernization. As an enormous information-based education resource,MOOC is of great significance for improving the education quality. It can be found from the existing research that MOOC has a shortage of emotion in the process of development.Norman’s "emotional design" theory is applied in this thesis to study the design of MOOC and analyze the specific design factors from the instinct level, the behavior level, and the reflection level.Psychology and Life,Understanding Human Communication, and View the World from a Gender Perspective are selected as high-quality MOOC cases in this thesis.By analyzing the success of their designs from the three levels, this thesis explores the rules of emotional design of MOOC.At the instinct level, optimizing lens language, color expression, and text design of MOOC videos can improve learners’ visual experience. At the behavior level, the functionality and usability of MOOC videos can help learners understand the teaching content and promote learners to complete learning tasks smoothly and effectively. At the reflection level,problem-based and life-oriented situations are created to improve interaction and establish emotional links with the learner to realize the internalization of emotions and values. The practice of this research is based on Dr.Xuelian’s Communication Science Lecture with the design factors summarized above. It achieves the actual effect of applying emotional design theory to MOOC.It is hoped that the methods and practical experiences adopted in this research can provide some reference value for the development of MOOC. |
