In recent years,MOOC has enjoyed great popularity among educators and benefited numerous learners,which makes it develop rapidly.However,after five-year development,its defects are gradually revealed.Compared to the traditional classroom,there are differences in time and space.For educators and learners,offering learners the same learning state in the MOOC video as in the traditional classroom is a challenge,which results in a high participation rate and a low completion rate.In order to break through the bottleneck of MOOC video development,we should explore the solution from many aspects,and the emotional design is an essential part.Since the direct purpose of emotive design is to try to change the condition of valuing cognition,we also need to value emotion so as to mobilize the enthusiasm of students and arouse their interest in learning.The author in the early stage of research combs and sums up a lot of literature in MOOC video on the basis of the theory of Three-tier Design Model,Humanism Learning Theory and Information Processing Theory.Under the guidance of the Three-tier Design Model,the emotional design scheme and process of MOOC video are explored.Its design scheme integrates emotional design goals,teaching links with design elements of MOOC video.Its design process is based on Three-tier Design Model.The Visceral Level is designed from content presentation,background music,dynamic effects,etc.The Behavioral Level mainly follows the principles of modularization,repetition,etc.The Reflective Level is explained from situation creation,act guide,etc.The course,Psychological Health of College Students,is taken as an example,one topic is chosen from which to validate the paper with the subjects of 110 students in Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications,trying to prove Emotional Design’s effectiveness.Through the application of SPSS20.0,the author makes a statistical analysis of the questionnaire,and draws the conclusion that Emotional Design of MOOC Video can compensate for the shortcomings of MOOC video teaching,which means MOOC Video Emotional Design can enhance the students’ interest,promote the students’ thinking,improve students’ ability of knowledge transfer,and then this design can improve the classroom teaching effect and so on.
