With the development of the Internet and the entertainment industry,the "Fan Quan girls" and "Fan Quan" are not just a game for young people and subcultures but have swept every aspect of society with great volume,even politically,as a youth group with strong nationalistic colors.Their patriotic passion and nationalistic expressions are striking.In 2019,as the "amendment controversy" in Hong Kong intensified,the "Fan Quan girls" began to create the personified national image of "A Zhong Ge Ge" on platforms such as Douban Group,Sina Weibo and Instagram.They began to express their discontent with the independence of Hong Kong by portraying the personified national image of "Brother Ah Chung" on Douban,Sina Weibo and Instagram.In the case of the "Fan Quan Girls",the presence and influence of the Fan Quan circle cannot be ignored,and the composition of the "Fan Quan" group and the gender of their expressions are also quite distinct,and the interaction with the official media is particularly clear.The personalized national image created by the "Fan Quan girls","A Zhong Ge Ge",is also a gender shift from the widely shared image of "Motherland".From the "Fan Quan Girls’ Campaign","Fan Quan Public Welfare",to the "Clear Action" to regulate the Fan Quan circle,Fan Quan girls are undoubtedly the group that the public,platforms,capital and officials are concerned about.From "brain-damaged fans" and "the little pinkies" to "Fan Quan Girls",the fan group,which mainly consists of young women,has an increasingly prominent position in the expression of nationalism.From "Motherland" and "Pinky" to "Fan Quan Girls",the fan base,mainly composed of young women,is becoming more and more prominent in nationalist expressions.From "Motherland" to "A Zhong Ge Ge",the gender deflection of the personified national image also deserves attention.Therefore,this paper attempts to observe and analyze the 2019 "Fan Quan Girls’ Campaign" event,taking the important symbol of this event,"A Zhong Ge Ge," as the object of study,by examining the "Douban Group",Sina Weibo and other platforms.Through the discourse analysis and content analysis of the speeches related to the "Fan Quan Girls’ Campaign",the relationship between gender identity,Fan Quan culture and nationalism is explored.In the study,we found that the motivation for the "Fan Quan girls’ Campaign"comes from the nationalist discourse since the June 9th Jihad,the patriotic enthusiasm and self-confidence in the development of national power,and the concern of official media to correct their names.In terms of nationalist expressions,the girls in the Fan Quan have constructed the core image of the "Campaign","A Zhong Ge Ge",based on national recognition and identity,and the "idol-fan" relationship as a mimetic."By telling an empathetic story,the "A Zhong Ge Ge" is beautiful,powerful,tragic,and lovable.In the form of nationalist expression,the "Fan Quan girl" pans the Fan Quan discourse experience through subcultural coding and decoding,rich image symbols,and organized control comments,combining the nationalist slogans with military overtones and the "Fan Quan culture" unique to fans of star-following.and feminine appealing stories.The reason why the "Fan Quan girls" construct a masculine personified national image as a symbol for the Campaign is partly due to the influence of the Fan Quan culture and partly due to the influence of women’s life experiences.As members of the Fan Quan,"calling" is the most familiar way of expression;as women,telling stories with a strong sense of calling is a more common narrative in female-oriented forums,so they construct "A Zhong Ge Ge" to establish a heterosexual intimacy between themselves and the country.The heterosexual intimacy mimesis. |
