To enhance the affinity of the ideological and political course in senior high school and give full play to its effectiveness,the first and practical strategy is to carry out targeted teaching reform.Because of its concrete and emotional characteristics,situational teaching method plays an irreplaceable role in strengthening the enthusiasm and initiative of senior high school students’ classroom participation and cultivating their innovative thinking.It is an important teaching method that meets the basic concepts and requirements of the new curriculum reform.The text is divided into three parts:The first part is an overview of the basic problems of situational teaching method in high school ideological and political lessons.The application of situational teaching method should follow the inductive principle of situation creation and the challenging principle of problem design,and pay attention to the connection between knowledge while arousing students’ interest in learning.On the premise of following the principles,the specific links of classroom teaching situation application should be designed and adjusted,and the textbook knowledge should be creatively combined with daily life.The second part,the problems and reasons of the application of situational teaching method in ideological and political courses in senior high school.The problems existing in the application of situational teaching method in high school ideological and political courses are that teachers’ use of teaching situations is unreasonable,teachers’ language lacks passion,and teachers’ lack of situational teaching questioning skills make situational analysis simple and teaching evaluation too simple and casual.The main reasons for these problems are deviations in the understanding of situational teaching methods,insufficient analysis of teaching materials and learning situation,serious formalization of teaching situations,and weak professional quality of some teachers.The third part,the countermeasures to improve the application effect of the situational teaching method in ideological and political courses in senior high school.Focus on guiding students’ emotional experience,carry out teaching activities in accordance with their aptitude,teachers guide students in cooperative learning,and improve teachers’ ability to teach in open situations.
