The new generation of employees has a high cultural level,strong learning ability,surging passion,and active thinking,but has a distinct personality,advocates self,and is easy to change jobs.The characteristics of private colleges and universities,such as heavy class tasks,conflict with the characteristics of the new generation of employees to a certain extent,which seriously affects the engagement of the new generation of employees.This paper studies the engagement of the new generation of employees in private colleges and universities from the perspective of the working environment,in order to provide reference for improving the engagement of the new generation of employees in private colleges and universities.This paper takes the engagement of new generation teachers in A private colleges and universities as the research object.Based on the literature review,referring to the Hewitt 3S scale and the actual design questionnaires of private colleges,this paper conducts an empirical study on the engagement of new generation teachers in private colleges A.Findings:(1)New-generation teachers who are more satisfied with salary performance,promotion system,interpersonal relationship,and cultural environment are more engaged;(2)The research on the subdivision dimension of engagement,which is willing to publicize,found that the more transparent the performance appraisal results,the better the promotion.The more transparent the system,the more willing employees are to promote the school;(3)the rationality of the salary system,the transparency of performance appraisal content and the degree of welfare improvement are all conducive to improving engagement from different dimensions.However,the more satisfied employees are with the salary level,the lower the effort they are willing to make;(4)the superiors give effective guidance to improve their engagement in all dimensions.Other dimensions of interpersonal relationships may only change some of the dimensions of engagement;(5)school work-life balance work-life balance and the perceptions of those around them affect willingness to stay,dedication,and enthusiasm for work,but not the willingness to promote Not obvious.According to the research proposed in this paper,(1)improve engagement by improving the transparency of performance appraisal and promotion;(2)build a fair compensation system,transparent performance appraisal and perfect welfare guarantee to improve engagement;(3)effective superior communication Guidance is conducive to enhancing engagement;(4)Multi-faceted cultural environment construction is also conducive to enhancing engagement.To a certain extent,this paper reveals the influencing factors of the new generation of teachers’engagement in A private colleges and universities,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.
