As the main course of high school education,mathematics course has always been the difficulty of students’ learning.Moreover,with the growth of grade,the difficulty of mathematics course is also increasing,and the phenomenon of two-level differentiation is becoming increasingly serious.The problems in students’ mathematics learning are caused by many factors.From the perspective of the curriculum itself,the mathematics curriculum has a high degree of abstraction and strict logic,which has high requirements for students’ thinking ability and learning quality,while many students do not have the corresponding thinking ability and learning quality.From the perspective of curriculum teaching,some teachers only pay attention to the explanation of basic knowledge and the training of problem-solving skills in teaching,neglecting the cultivation of more essential mathematical ideas and weakening the students’ understanding of the mathematics curriculum.Therefore,starting from the physical and mental characteristics of students,strengthening the cultivation of students’ mathematical thinking has become the key task of the current high school mathematics teaching.The thought of combination of number and shape is the important content of mathematical thought and the most basic content of mathematical thought.The thought of combination of numbers and shapes closely integrates the quantitative relationship and spatial form,and the quantitative relationship and spatial form are the main part of the high school mathematics curriculum.Based on this,the article takes the idea of combining numbers and shapes as the research theme,and from the perspective of core literacy,discusses the application of the idea of combining numbers and shapes in high school math problem solving.On the basis of the research background analysis and literature review,the paper selects four classes in the third grade of a high school as the research objects,and analyzes the application status of the idea of combining numbers and shapes in high school math problem solving by means of questionnaires,interviews and tests,It summarizes the problems of the application of the combination of numbers and shapes,including the low frequency of application and one-sided understanding.It closely links the three forms of the combination of numbers and shapes,and refines the application principles of the combination of numbers and shapes in high school mathematics problem-solving under the core quality,including the principle of subjectivity,the principle of suitability,the principle of pertinence and the principle of continuity.Then it discusses the application of the combination of numbers and shapes in high school mathematics problem-solving Based on the application of number and shape in high school math problem solving and the application of number and shape complementation in high school math problem solving,this paper summarizes the application effect of the combination of number and shape in high school math problem solving under the core literacy,including providing problem solving ideas,reducing the difficulty of problem solving,cultivating mathematical thinking and cultivating core literacy.Core literacy education is a hot topic in current education.The contents of core literacy in mathematics,such as mathematical abstraction and mathematical modeling,are closely related to the idea of combining numbers with shapes.The cultivation of the idea of combining numbers with shapes has an important guiding role.For the daily application of mathematical knowledge,the thought of combination of number and shape is the most important medium.The solution of mathematical problems in life must be based on the abstract expression of mathematical language,and the idea of combination of numbers and shapes is the main way of abstract expression of problems.With the help of the idea of combining numbers with shapes,we can use shapes to help numbers and numbers to help shapes,creating conditions for students to solve problems with the mathematical knowledge they have learned.The proposal of the core quality puts forward new requirements for the application of the combination of numbers and shapes in high school mathematics problem solving.From the perspective of the cultivation of the core quality,strengthening the application of the combination of numbers and shapes will,on the one hand,cultivate students’ problem-solving ability and,on the other hand,promote the development of students’ mathematical thinking,so as to improve students’ mathematical learning effect as a whole.
