Physics is a natural science based on experiment.Experiment teaching is an important course resource and teaching means in physics teaching.The new curriculum standard also emphasizes the importance of experiment teaching.There are also many activities designed in the textbook that require students to complete small productions by themselves using objects around them.Due to unbalanced economic development in various regions,insufficient investment in educational resources in underdeveloped areas,and the exam-oriented education is still dominated by written test scores,relevant departments and schools do not pay enough attention to experimental equipment.The existing laboratory equipment in many schools is still inadequate.It is difficult to meet the needs of education reform,teachers’ teaching needs and students’ extracurricular practice needs.The advantages of self-made teaching AIDS are becoming more and more prominent,which can not only meet the needs of different teachers’ personalized understanding of teaching content and unique teaching methods,but also allow students to make and participate in them,which can really exercise students’ practical ability and improve students’ scientific inquiry ability.At the same time,in solving the difficult problems raised by students,self-made teaching AIDS are more targeted,and the practical effect in teaching is immediate,which is an important resource and means of current experimental teaching.The first part of this paper is based on the requirements of the new compulsory education curriculum standards,students’ cognitive difficulties,the problems existing in junior middle school physics experiment teaching as the background,to determine the necessity of the development of self-made teaching AIDS.Through literature review,the research status of self-made teaching AIDS at home and abroad is understood.Determine the research content and main research methods of this paper,specifically for the case analysis and practice method.The second part clarified the concept of "teaching AIDS" and "self-made teaching AIDS",combined with the "Tower of Experience" learning theory,constructivism learning theory,"learning by doing" learning theory,cognitive learning theory to explain the importance of self-made teaching AIDS,and determined the theoretical basis of the research.The third part mainly discusses some problems about self-made teaching AIDS.Firstly,it summarizes that the development of self-made teaching AIDS should follow the principles of science,safety,inquiry,innovation,intuitionistic,practicability and modularity.This paper analyzed and summarized that the self-made teaching AIDS can be considered from three aspects: teaching discovery problems,students’ questions,and improving others’ teaching AIDS.Three development strategies are summarized from experimental equipment,experimental methods and experimental contents.The fourth part cites several pieces of mechanics teaching AIDS developed based on the theory of the third part.This paper analyzes the development background of the teaching AIDS,analyzes the specific structure,use methods,characteristics and solutions of the teaching AIDS,and puts forward the subsequent improvement and application design of the teaching AIDS.In the fifth part,the application of self-made teaching AIDS is studied.The section "Friction" is taken as a research sample,and the use of self-made teaching AIDS with the experimental equipment in different classes is compared,and the short-term effect of self-made teaching AIDS in classroom teaching is analyzed.Using the classroom observation method to observe students ’behavior and found that it can improve students’ participation,to the student questionnaire survey found that it can improve students ’interest in learning physics,using test tests found that self-made teaching AIDS can improve students’ academic performance.
