The Geography Curriculum Standards for Full-time Ordinary High Schools promulgated in 2017 clearly put forward the needs to cultivate students’ geographic core literacy.How do we innovate the learning methods? The following approaches:make full use of geographic information technology to create an intuitive and vivid geography teaching environment and offer more geographic practices for students.While teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students’ cognitive style on the basis of respecting students’ individual differences.However,the Lujiao Edition of Senior High School Compulsory Geography :Volume one has the features of large time and space span,high comprehensiveness even strong abstraction.As a result,it is often difficult for students to use their own imagination and understanding to deeply understand high school Stages of physical geography and knowledge when they are in the learning process.This requires teachers to explore and utilize the appropriate teaching methods to help their students understand correlated contents easily.Nowadays because of the development of mobile Internet information technology.Micro lectures have entered the campus as a new teaching method and it gradually gained popularity among teachers and students due to its short and concise,diverse forms,vivid and interesting.Moreover,the students can learn in their fragmented time,which has concluded the transformation of teaching methods.In this context,this thesis will use some methods,such as literature research,questionnaires,teaching practice,performance analysis,and effect comparison,which focuses on the features and current situation of the compulsory course of physical geography education in the the Lujiao Edition of Senior High School Compulsory Geography :Volume one.According to the features and advantages of micro lectures,the thesis will discusses how do teachers use it in their teaching to evoke students’ interest;how do teachers improve the efficiency of teaching and the quality of physical geography teaching in the classroom;how do we apply the micro lectures after class to conduct fragmented time learning and improve the grasp of knowledge;how do we combine the learning and thinking of physical geography teaching with specific situations in life to improve students’ practicing abilities.It is concluded that "microlectures" teaching can improve students’ interests and promote the improvement of autonomous learning ability;What’s more,It can help to break through difficulties;fragmented time also can be used to strengthen the consolidation and improvement of knowledge points,and the scope of application is limited.The thesis will be divided into five parts.The first part is:the analysis of the micro lectures’ basic definitions and the current status of theoretical research;The second is: the discussion and analysis of current situation,characteristics and application scenarios of micro lectures in high school physical geography teaching inland;The third one is: the investigation of the current situation on the use of micro lectures in education and teaching in several schools in the teaching area according to its features,takes online videos and designs the cards for teaching activities.The the effects will be compared with the traditional ones,and draw a conclusion that micro lectures teaching can promote the advancement of efficient classrooms and achieve the teaching effect of twice the result with half the effort.And It is necessary to strengthen the training on the design and production of micro lectures,enrich the content of micro lectures,and correctly handle strategies such as the relationship between normal teaching and micro lectures,to promote the use of micro lectures teaching methods in senior high school geography teaching in my country finally.
