With the advancement of network technologies,micro lectures have emerged and developed fast,receiving widespread concerns and research interests of scholars.This paper is based on micro learning theory,situation cognition and learning theory,the personalized learning theory.Using the large mount of literature research and questionnaires,this paper has analyzed the application of micro lectures in the high school geography class teaching.The results shows that most of the teachers and students have some basic understanding and have experience with it.But some problems are as follows.(1)Educational departments and schools haven't organized many related trainings.There is a lack of funding support for preparing micro lectures and creating resource libraries.It is still unclear if schools support the application of micro lectures or not.(2)Without a thorough understanding of micro lectures,teachers are not so capable of preparing micro lectures,and fail to explore these lectures based on their applications.(3)Most students often surf the internet,but very few of them watch learning-related videos online.(4)Micro lecture resource platforms haven't been completely built in China,where systematic and perfect resources are unavailable to geography microlectures.In view of above problems,some improvement strategies are put forward according to different teaching organizations.The countermeasures are mainly as follows:Firstly,educational departments are supposed to strengthen trainings about teachers' preparation of micro lectures,offer greater funding support to micro lectures,enhance their publicity of micro lectures and actively create micro lecture resource libraries with different coverage.Secondly,educational enterprises ought to actively publicize applications(APPs)of micro lectures,rigorously control micro lecture resources and improve evaluation systems.Thirdly,schools are expected to technically guide teachers how to prepare micro lectures to promote labor division and teamwork.They shall clearly convey their supportfor micro lectures,put them into practices and build their own micro lecture resource platforms.Fourthly,geography teachers need to actively take part in trainings organized by educational administrations or schools to improve personal skills,reasonably coordinate micro lectures with traditional classroom teaching,clarify positive impacts of the application of micro lectures and attach importance to schools' collaborative work with families.Cause the majority of teachers without the in-depth knowledge of micro lecture and the ability to make it,this paper gives a detailed introduction for making geographical micro lecture had dedicated,and explained the application of micro lecturee by some specific cases,with the hope of further popularizing the application micro lecture in the high school geography class teaching in Shandong Province.
