| As the country continues to promote the process of informatisation,The Internet has become an important stage for the general public to express their opinions and wishes, and has gradually developded the network public opinion which is very influential. At present, the Internet has become a part of our lives, and online public opinion plays an increasingly important role in the dissemination of information in various fields.Based on the rapid development of the field of online public opinion, this paper chooses to analyze the current status of research on online public opinion in China by starting from the research literature in the field of online public opinion for nearly 20 years since the emergence of the Internet and selecting the literature from 2001 to 2021 in the CSSCI database of CNKI on China Knowledge Network. The literature was analyzed from macroscopic to mesoscopic to microscopic perspectives using spatio-temporal analysis,high-frequency word analysis, cluster analysis, knowledge mapping analysis, and other bibliometric methods, and the data was extracted with the help of SATI’s statistical analysis tool and co-authorship network analysis of authors and institutions. The paper also uses Gephi complex network analysis software to visualize the intersection of disciplines in the field of online public opinion. The thesis concludes that the field of online public opinion is divided into three stages of development in terms of time: the nascent period(2001-2007),the development period(2008-2017),and the boom period(2018-2021);in terms of space, research authors and institutional cooperation are characterized by regional clustering, weak willingness to cooperate across regions, and fragmentation of fields. In terms of content,high-frequency research themes were analyzed through Cite Space clustering, and finally 10 hot topics were obtained, including complex networks, network public opinion, universities, microblog public opinion, coping strategies, influencing factors, public opinion, big data, emergencies, and networks, etc.Afterwards, the evolution of research themes was derived through timeline mapping and the detection of emergent words to derive possible future research trends. In terms of interdisciplinarity, the research results of the two disciplines of library and intelligence and journalism and media were selected, resulting in a total of 14 intersecting themes in the two disciplines, such as online public opinion governance, breaking news, and complex networks, which were combined with the research literature of the disciplines to analyse the existence of common and unique research domains between the disciplines. At various stages, the cross-cutting themes show an increasingly frequent intersection of the two disciplines and a continuous convergence of research fields.Based on the findings of the study, corresponding countermeasures are proposed in the hope of providing a reference for future related research. |
