Investigation On The Participation Of Primary School Students In Extracurricular Sports Activities In Hongshan District Of Wuhan Under The Background Of "Double Reduction"

The "double reduction" policy has brought new opportunities for elementary school students to carry out extracurricular sports activities.After the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,what changes will happen to the participation of primary school students in extracurricular sports activities,what new problems will they face,and how to promote the implementation of the "double reduction" policy have become urgent research topics.By using the method of literature,questionnaire,interview and mathematical analysis,this paper investigates the current situation of students participating in extracurricular sports activities in four primary schools in Hongshan District of Wuhan City after the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,analyzes the characteristics of elementary school students participating in extracurricular sports activities,summarizes the main problems,and puts forward corresponding suggestions.In order to improve the participation of primary school students in extracurricular sports activities,further implement the "double reduction" policy,and promote the development of extracurricular sports activities to provide theoretical reference.The research results are as follows:1.In the context of "double reduction",primary school students in Hongshan District of Wuhan participate in extracurricular sports activities,basketball,badminton and skipping are relatively popular,but male and female students have different preferences in choosing extracurricular sports activities.In terms of site characteristics,Hongshan primary school students participate in extracurricular sports activities mainly in the community,family and school.In the form of participation,the main manifestations are family sports,solo exercise,community sports and school sports.The main motivations for Hongshan primary school students to participate in extracurricular sports activities are to improve their physical health(97.89%),develop sports interest(80.28%),and master sports skills(71.3%).2.After the "double reduction",parents’ attitude towards students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities has changed.69.8% of parents are more willing to support their children’s participation in extracurricular sports activities than before the "double reduction".In terms of the changes of pupils’ participation in extracurricular sports activities before and after the implementation of "double reduction",69.24% of pupils in Hongshan District spent more time in extracurricular sports activities,and 57.19% of pupils in Hongshan District spent more time in extracurricular sports activities.3.Under the background of "double reduction",the demand for extra-curricular sports activities of primary school students in Hongshan District of Wuhan has increased,which is difficult for all parties to coordinate and cope with.Increased project content and low frequency of implementation;Lack of teachers,unreasonable structure;Safety management of extracurricular sports activities is not in place.In view of the existing problems,the following countermeasures are proposed: "home-school club" diversified synergy forms a joint force;Innovate the content format of extracurricular sports activities;Strengthen the construction of teachers for extracurricular sports activities;Establish a security risk management mechanism.The conclusion of the study is as follows:1.After the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,the four primary schools surveyed in Hongshan District have actively carried out extracurricular sports activities and received extensive support.Primary school students in Hongshan District,Wuhan City,have a correct understanding of extracurricular sports activities.2.After the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,the enthusiasm of primary school students in Hongshan District has improved,the support of parents has also been continuously improved,and the overall impact of participating in extracurricular sports activities on primary school students in Hongshan District is relatively good.3.Under the "double reduction" policy,it is difficult for all parties to coordinate,low frequency of project implementation,lack of teachers and hidden safety risks are the main factors affecting the participation of primary school students in extracurricular sports activities in Hongshan District of Wuhan.
