| In 2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The General Office of the State Council issued "the Opinions on Further Reducing the Homework Burden and Off-campus Training Burden of Students in Compulsory Education"(hereinafter referred to as "Double Reduction"),aiming to reduce the excessive homework burden and off-campus training burden of students.At the same time,in order to enrich students’ extracurricular life and meet their diverse needs,schools use after-school services to increase the time and opportunities for students to participate in artistic activities,to promote comprehensive and diverse development of students.Since then,extracurricular music activities in primary schools have also received widespread attention.After the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,relevant education departments in Haikou City have fully deepened the implementation.The Haikou Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC)has included the "double reduction" work in compulsory education as one of the democratic supervision items this year,organizing various departments to go deep into schools,communicate with teachers and students,parents,and relevant personnel,and familiarize themselves with the specific development situation of each school.Currently,through the joint efforts of school teachers and parents,certain achievements have been achieved,but due to the lack of a dialectical understanding of extracurricular music activities and a systematic management system,there are still some shortcomings in the actual implementation.Only by solving the existing problems as soon as possible can extracurricular music activities be better developed.This study firstly makes an in-depth review of the research status of "double reduction" policy,public primary schools,extracurricular music activities and so on,defines the basic concept of extracurricular music activities and extracurricular activity management in this paper,and summarizes the value and significance of extracurricular music activities management.Secondly,on the basis of investigating the development of extracurricular music activities in multiple public and private primary schools in Haikou City,Qiongshan Dongmen Primary School was selected for field research.Four dimensions,namely,activity objectives,activity settings,activity implementation,and activity evaluation,were selected as the entry points.Research methods such as interviews,data analysis,and questionnaire surveys were used to collect and collate data,To conduct an in-depth analysis of the development effect of extracurricular music activities in Haikou public primary schools.Thirdly,through data induction,summarize the current problems and causes of extracurricular music activities in Haikou public primary schools.Finally,based on the operational characteristics and rules of primary school music extracurricular activities,I attempt to optimize the activities using the PDCA circular management model,and propose relevant suggestions for the development and management of extracurricular music activities in Haikou public primary schools.To some extent,I will help the development of primary school extracurricular music activities to be healthy and organized. |
