Study On Influencing Factors Of Vocational Orientation Of Physical Education Major Students In Shaanxi Province

Colleges and universities are the main positions of cultivating high quality talents,and the physical education major aims at cultivating physical education teachers.Correct career orientation is the motivation to form a positive learning attitude and improve professional level.Timely and effective understanding of the current factors affecting the career orientation of college students majoring in physical education,and targeted guidance,so as to improve the professional cognition level of college students majoring in physical education,timely make up for the shortage,and provide a good foundation for students’ future employment.Therefore,the career orientation of college students majoring in physical education is closely related to their professional cognition and future career developmentIn order to understand the influencing factors of vocational orientation of students majoring in physical education in Shaanxi province.This paper conducted a sampling survey on 6 colleges and universities with physical education majors in Shaanxi Province,taking students majoring in physical education in 4 grades as the survey objects.By using various methods such as literature,questionnaire,expert interviews and mathematical statistics,this paper conducted an in-depth study on the factors affecting the career orientation of students majoring in physical education.The main research results are as follows:(1)According to the survey on the current situation of vocational orientation of students majoring in physical education in colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province,92.9% of students majoring in physical education in colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province choose to work in teaching physical education after graduation;Students have a certain degree of self-cognition of their major and teaching ability;The students of physical education major in different colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province have different career choice intentions.(2)According to the survey on the current situation of career planning of students majoring in physical education in colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province,25.9%of students majoring in physical education in colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province expressed confidence in their future employment;Most students majoring in physical education tend to develop in provincial cities;76.4% of students majoring in physical education in colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province expressed their willingness to join the "Western Plan";The ideal career of students majoring in physical education is more in sports related industries,but there are still some students with great employment pressure and lack of clear career planning.(3)Through the exploratory factor analysis results,we can see that the influencing factors of career orientation of physical education major students in Shaanxi Province are generally internal and external factors.Among them,the internal factors include professional characteristic factors,personal interest factors;External factors include occupational characteristics and family background.The most influential factor is the curriculum system of the major(0.908),followed by the father’s education level(0.899),the third is the working environment(0.888),and the fourth is the professional satisfaction(0.831).(4)Through descriptive statistics and difference test results,it can be seen that students of different schools have differences in family background factors,and the overall score of Yan ’an University is higher than that of the other five institutions;There are differences in family background factors and personal interest factors among different genders,and the overall score of male students is higher than that of female students.Students of different grades have differences in family background factors and personal interest factors,and the overall score of freshmen in family background factors is higher than that of other three grades,and the overall score of junior students in personal interest factors is higher than that of other three grades.There are differences in occupational characteristics and family background factors among students in urban and rural residence,and the overall score of urban residence is higher than that of rural residence.
