The reemployment problem of middle-aged unemployed women is not only a personal and family issue,but also a social issue that affects the healthy and orderly development of the entire society.Among the many factors that affect the reemployment of middle-aged unemployed women,the fundamental problem of their insufficient reemployment ability cannot be avoided or avoided.This study is based on the empowerment theory and revolves around the issue of improving the reemployment ability of middle-aged unemployed women.Taking T community in Xi’an as an example,a qualitative and quantitative research method is used to study the improvement of the reemployment ability of middle-aged unemployed women in T community in Xi’an through questionnaire surveys,semi-structured interviews,and other methods.Research has found that middle-aged unemployed women have insufficient reemployment ability,mainly manifested as low self-worth,insufficient learning motivation,and unclear career planning.This study used a group work approach to intervene in the work of the research subjects.The results show that the empowerment theory is effective in guiding middle-aged unemployed women to improve their reemployment ability,and can help research objects to establish self-efficacy,regain learning motivation and clarify career planning.Group work plays a positive role in improving the reemployment ability of middle-aged unemployed women.It can improve self-worth and self-efficacy through interaction,communication and experience,and rekindle learning motivation and career development confidence.The skills needed to use group work to help middle-aged unemployed women improve their reemployment ability,such as improving problem perception,promoting resource integration,and strengthening environmental adaptability.The research conclusion indicates that the theory of empowerment and group work have played a positive role in improving the reemployment ability of middle-aged unemployed women.This study provides a reference for practitioners to use relevant theories and methods to help middle-aged unemployed women improve their reemployment ability.Further research can explore the specific application techniques and approaches of energy augmentation theory in this issue.
