Social Work Study On Restorative Power Increases In Patients With Mental Disorders

In recent years,more and more mental health problems have appeared in the public eye,and gradually developed from a medical-oriented treatment model to a collaborative treatment model of psychology,social work and other related professionals.In the intervention of rehabilitation services for patients with mental disorders,social work is not limited to clinical rehabilitation treatment,but pays more attention to the recovery and improvement of patients’ own ability.Rehabilitation services for patients with mental disorders dominated by the theory of rehabilitation treat the service objects as complete people and attach importance to their autonomy in the process of rehabilitation,which is easy to be accepted by patients with mental disorders and their families,and rehabilitation services have a significant effect on patients with mental disorders to return to social life.Recovery power is the characteristic of patients with mental disorders.It refers to the power of active use of internal and external resources to make life full of power when suffering from mental illness,so as to return to social life again.It can be divided into six dimensions: faith and hope,willingness to seek help,goal and success-oriented,dependence on others,not focusing on symptoms,and social support.In this study,under the guidance of recovery theory,social work methods such as group and case were used to ease the emotions of service objects,provide breathing services for family members,and relieve the pressure of caring for family members.Enhance the client’s sense of control over the disease and enhance the client’s sense of self-identity;Broaden the social channels of the target,stimulate the power of peer groups,increase social support;At the same time,by playing the role of social workers as propagandists,the acceptance degree of the community for patients with mental disorders is improved,and their social support network is built.The specific service process includes five stages:seek the starting point of recovery: relieve the pressure of the service object,promote the establishment of professional relationship;Explore the hope of recovery: inspire the clients’ confidence in life,improve their sense of control over the disease through disease management and rehabilitation training;Cultivate the advantages of recovery: the service objects participate in recreational activities,enrich the entertainment life,self-responsibility cognition: through daily housework and life simulation training,stimulate the service objects’ sense of family responsibility;Restoration environment construction: one is to provide respite service for family members,the other is to cooperate with the community.Studies have shown that rehabilitation services can significantly improve the recovery ability of service objects,which can help patients with mental disorders recover.Rehabilitation services are easy to be accepted by patients with mental disorders and their families.On this basis,this study actively studies and summarizes the deficiencies in the service process,providing reference experience for social work to intervene in rehabilitation services for patients with mental disorders in the future.
