| The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that building resilient cities is an important path to improve the level of urban governance.Building resilient communities has become a necessary part of it,as it helps to enhance the community’s positive impact,adaptability,and sustainable development ability to crises.The State Council’s "Guiding Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the Renovation of Old Urban Residential Areas" points out that one of the current focuses of urbanization work is the renovation of old residential areas.The construction of old residential areas has a long history,and the public space environment is poor,making it difficult to cope with public crisis events.This article takes the old residential area H in Jiaxing City as the research object,and conducts research through interview,participatory observation,and case study methods.Social workers carry out the construction of resilient communities in H old residential areas through safety line social work administration,old lane new appearance social work projects,and neighborly friendly social work projects.Through social work intervention in the resilient community building practice of H Old Community,Community Governance capacity and efficiency have been significantly improved,and the crisis response mechanism has been improved to improve institutional resilience;Knowledge of science popularization crisis response to improve technological resilience;Scientific planning of public spaces to enhance physical resilience;Mobilize community participation to enhance organizational resilience;Building a community culture of good neighborliness to enhance cultural resilience;Strengthen mental health education to improve psychological resilience.This article aims to explore the path and mode of social work intervention in the resilience construction of old residential areas,enrich the theory and localization practical experience of resilience community construction,and provide research value and practical experience reference for sociologists and social workers in the era of increasing uncertainty risks and the process of strengthening grassroots governance capabilities and modernizing governance systems. |
