| Extracurricular physical activities are crucial to the improvement of physical fitness and the cultivation of lifelong physical education awareness among elementary school students.The policy of "double reduction" provides time for students to participate in extracurricular physical activities,and adds new opportunities to strengthen physical exercise and improve physical health.At the present stage,extracurricular physical activities for elementary school students are developing rapidly under the promotion of the "double reduction" policy,but the ensuing problems also present themselves.Therefore,this paper adopts the methods of literature,questionnaires and interviews to investigate and analyze the current situation of extracurricular physical activities of elementary school students in Mudanjiang City,sort out the bottlenecks that restrict the smooth development of extracurricular physical activities of elementary school students in Mudanjiang City,and propose feasible optimization strategies to promote the effective development of extracurricular physical activities.The following conclusions are drawn from this study:1.Mudanjiang City’s "home-school-society" has a good implementation of the national policy on "physical education",which strongly guarantees the implementation of various sports activities.However,there are problems such as insufficient interpretation and propaganda,resulting in students’ superficial knowledge of extracurricular sports activities.2.The hardware and software conditions for sports activities in and out of school in Mudanjiang City can still meet the needs of sports activities at present.However,there are problems such as shortage of venues and facilities,shortage of funds and single source,shortage of physical education teachers and lack of participation of social sports instructors in the development of extracurricular physical education activities for students.3.The content of extracurricular sports activities for elementary school students in Mudanjiang City is relatively good.However,there are problems such as the sport activities are not interesting,the organization form is relatively single,and the local characteristics are not enough.By combining the actual situation,the following optimization strategies are proposed:1.Strengthen the publicity and enhance the cognition.Increase the publicity of extracurricular sports activities for students through multiple ways and methods to improve the overall level of awareness.2.Macro-control,policy support.Seize the opportunity of "double reduction" and increase the support for extracurricular sports activities according to the actual situation in the local area,so as to provide policy support for the development of extracurricular sports activities for elementary school students.3.Enrich the content,highlight the characteristics.Combine the characteristics of the region and increase the number of local special sports programs.Enrich the organization of extracurricular sports activities,and encourage schools to build a unique school philosophy and characteristics of sports activities.4.Integrate resources and coordinate.Government departments and schools should reasonably plan existing sports resources,improve the utilization of sports resources,and increase the construction of sports infrastructure.5.Broaden the channels and guarantee the funding.Increase the investment in funding,expand the sources of funding to ensure adequate supply of extracurricular sports activities.6.Strengthen supervision and recruit talents.Increase the introduction of talents and provide regular training for the existing teachers.Build a "cooperation model between local universities and basic education" to provide strong teachers for students to participate in extracurricular sports activities in and out of school. |
