In order to improve the severe problem of excessive academic pressure and burden of primary and secondary school students in China,reducing the time to participate in extracurricular activities,and causing the continuous decline of students’ physical health,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the "Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Homework and Off-campus Training for Students in the Stage of Compulsory Education"(hereinafter referred to as "double reduction"),which clarified the role of strengthening the main position of school education and further improving the quality and level of after-school services.As an important part of the school’s after-school services,school sports club activities undertake the arduous task of enhancing students’ physical health and developing students’ interest in sports.In this context,this paper analyzes the current status,advantages and practical difficulties of sports club activities in provincial demonstration primary schools in Xi’an through questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method and logical analysis,and draws on excellent foreign experience to propose the improvement strategy of sports club activities in provincial demonstration primary schools in Xi’an.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Under the background of the "double reduction" policy,the main advantages of Xi’an provincial demonstration primary school sports club activities are: the implementation of national policies and high-quality school-running resources;Sports club activities are carried out in various forms to ensure the duration and content;The teaching staff is complete and follows the teaching according to aptitude.(2)Under the background of the "double reduction" policy,the practical difficulties in the development of sports club activities in Xi’an provincial demonstration primary schools mainly include: some schools have incomplete basic conditions and resources,insufficient school venue facilities and equipment,and the frequency of sports club activities is limited by external factors such as weather,resulting in unsatisfactory results in the development of primary school sports club activities;Secondly,the rules and regulations of most school sports club activities are not well managed,they are formal,and there is no institutional guarantee for handling emergencies;The assessment and evaluation mechanism of sports club activities is not perfect,and there is a lack of training and assessment of instructors,resulting in poor participation and guidance results,frequent job-hopping,and uneven teaching ability.There is a lack of internal and external or inter-school sports club activities to carry out project events,only intramural comprehensive sports meetings;Some school sports club activities are still insufficient for the popularization of general sports and the excavation of traditional characteristic sports;The coordination of participants is inconsistent,and the lack of linkage between the competent education and sports authorities,social forces,schools,and families restricts the sustainable development of school sports club activities.(3)In view of the above dilemmas,put forward the strategy of improving the sports club activities of Xi’an provincial demonstration primary schools under the background of the "double reduction" policy: continue to implement the national "double reduction" and other relevant policies,and create a better environment and conditions for students to participate in sports club activities on the original basis;Improve the rules and management systems related to school sports club activities,and pay attention to the handling of student injury accidents and emergencies;Relevant departments should continue to improve the training and assessment of school sports club activity instructors,and enhance the professionalism and scientific nature of school sports club activity guidance;Pay attention to the interaction and resource sharing of sports events inside and outside the school,and actively introduce the resources of high-quality social sports clubs outside the school with excellence;Attach importance to the excavation of traditional and characteristic sports projects,and advocate the promotion of sports club activities education model that popularizes all students and drives the all-round development of other sports projects,taking the primary school affiliated to Xi’an Technological University as an example;Form a multi-party joint force to strengthen the training mode of sports club activities of "home-school club" co-education,so that school sports club activities can play their due educational value. |
