On March 18,2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping presided over a symposium for teachers of ideological and political education in schools.At the meeting,General Secretary Xi stressed the importance of "continuously enhancing the ideological,theoretical,and sense of achievement of ideological and political education." Improving the sense of achievement in ideological and political education among college students is not just the value pursuit and evaluation criterion for cultivating virtue and nurturing talents,It is also the endogenous driving force for the reform of ideological and political education,and the practical requirement for promoting the comprehensive development of college students.The sense of achievement is not only a cutting-edge topic in the current research on ideological and political education in universities,but also an important indicator for comprehensively evaluating the effectiveness of ideological and political education for college students and the quality of their education.This paper revolves around the theme of the sense of achievement in ideological and political education for college students,defines the core concepts,and conducts a more in-depth exploration of the existing problems.Furthermore,this paper proposes effective measures to enhance the sense of achievement in ideological and political education for college students from four aspects: the inner needs and subject consciousness of college students,the connection and deepening of educational content,the diversity of educational carriers,and the effectiveness of examination methods.The structure of this paper is as follows:In the first section.It mainly includes the research motivation,current domestic and international research status,research ideas,research methods,and innovations.In the second section.It mainly elaborates on the relevant issues of the sense of achievement in ideological and political education for college students.It also clarifies the internal logic of this issue,and analyzes its characteristics,and content composition.In the third section.It mainly explores ideological resources from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s relevant discussions,relevant ideological concepts from both Eastern and Western perspectives,as well as theories from education and communication studies for reference.In the fourth section.It mainly adopts the questionnaire survey to investigate the satisfaction of college students with ideological and political education and then identifies existing problems,as well as analyzes the causes of these problems.In the last section.It mainly focuses on the issue of a weak sense of achievement in ideological and political education for college students.Through literature review and questionnaire survey research methods,this section summarizes effective ways to enhance the sense of achievement in ideological and political education for college students.
