With the promulgation and implementation of the "General High School History Curriculum Standards"(2017 version revised in 2020),the cultivation of core competencies has become the teaching focus of front-line teachers.How to give full play to the advantages of the discipline and cultivate the core literacy of students is a difficult problem facing teachers of history subjects,and the breakthrough of this problem is closely related to the correct choice and effective use of teaching methods.The discipline of history has a past characteristic different from that of ordinary disciplines,which has caused the indirectness of our understanding of history,which is mainly reflected in the fact that the current historical subject is difficult to directly face the historical object that will never return,and the limitations of time and space make it difficult for the subject of knowledge to put himself in the position of history.In order to truly play the educational role of the discipline of history and cultivate students’ core historical literacy to complete the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and cultivating people,many teaching methods that allow learning subjects to experience history have emerged,and the teaching method of historical synesthesia is one of them.This paper discusses the application of historical synaesthesia in high school history teaching in four aspects.Through the study of a large number of literature on synaesthesia and synaesthesia teaching in various disciplines,it is found that the research on the application of historical synaesthesia teaching from the perspective of cognitive psychology is relatively weak,and this paper integrates students’ cognitive activities and emotional activities from the perspective of cognitive psychology,defines historical synaesthesia teaching as history teachers strictly follow the provisions of ordinary high school history curriculum standards,combines the characteristics of history disciplines and the existing knowledge and experience of high school students,and interprets the teaching content from the perspective of students’ different sensory channels.According to historical materials,guide students to multi-angle imagination and association,so as to fully understand historical content and obtain good emotional experience.Under the guidance of the concept of historical synaesthesia teaching,a systematic analysis of the connotation,theoretical basis and necessity of historical synaesthesia teaching is carried out to grasp the basic direction of historical synesthesia used in high school history teaching.Through the use of classroom observation method and investigation research method to understand the application status of historical synaesthesia teaching and students’ love for historical synaesthesia teaching,it is found that students have a positive attitude towards historical synaesthesia teaching,but teachers still have problems such as single application and interpretation methods of historical materials and insufficient attention to learners’ perception style in unconscious applications.Through the feedback questions in the survey,the historical synaesthesia teaching strategy based on historical data was constructed and put into practice,so as to help front-line teachers more intuitively understand the specific implementation of this method.
