Under the background of new curriculum reform,PAD(Presentation,Assimilation and Discussion class)class as a new teaching mode has become one of the hot spots in basic education research.This study proposes to apply the PAD class teaching model to junior chemistry classroom teaching to stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm and improve class participation.In this paper,three representative junior high schools in different regions are selected as research objects,and literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,observation and experimental research are used to investigate and practice the current situation of junior high school chemistry classroom teaching.Under the guidance of humanistic theory,developmental teaching theory and cognitivism learning theory,the "Three sections and five links" PAD class teaching model was constructed,and was conducted teaching practice research in junior chemistry classroom in this paper.The research shows that the classroom teaching mode is adopted in chemistry class in junior high school,and the whole teaching process is divided into three stages.Through the implementation of the five links of PAD class preparation,intensive teaching and leaving blank space,internalization and absorption,communication and discussion,and reflection after class,students’ comprehensive abilities of language communication,hands-on experiment and cooperative exploration can be effectively cultivated.To promote the comprehensive development of students’ chemistry core accomplishment,students’ academic performance has been generally improved.
