Ancient travel prose is an important component of junior high school Chinese teaching,playing an important role in developing students’ thinking,cultivating students’ sentiment,and improving their comprehensive Chinese literacy.In recent years,with the continuous advancement of education and teaching reform,the teaching of ancient travel prose has undergone significant improvements.However,there are still some urgent problems to be solved in current teaching: weak awareness of style,loss of teaching pertinence;Decentralized thinking lines and prominent fragmentation of issues;Ability training is ignored,and the consistency of questioning is lost.Therefore,improving teachers’ teaching concepts and improving students’ ability to read ancient travel notes and essays has become the focus of junior high school Chinese education and teaching.The "main question" concept proposed by Teacher Yu Yingchao can play a role of "pulling the trigger and moving the whole body" in article reading,and can effectively improve students’ ability to read ancient travel notes and essays.Therefore,this article attempts to propose the following strategies to improve the teaching of ancient travel prose in junior high school based on Teacher Yu Yingchao’s "main problem" concept and the above existing problems: grasping the characteristics of travel notes and constructing a "main problem" in coordination;"Main issues" in system design that affect the overall quality reading;Practice ability cultivation,and the activity is based on the "main problem".
