| The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)emphasizes the cultivation of students’ core literacy in mathematics,and the importance of arithmetic skills as one of the concrete manifestations of students’ core literacy in mathematics cannot be overstated.Arithmetic runs through the elementary school mathematics curriculum and teaching,and is the foundation of the foundation of mathematics learning;mathematical arithmetic ability plays an important role in promoting and laying the foundation for all aspects of mathematics for elementary school students.After four years of study and accumulation in elementary school,fifth grade elementary school students have formed certain mathematical operation ability,therefore,using fifth grade students as the survey object increases the operability of the survey and research,making the survey and research more simple and easy,and the survey results more objective and accurate.Therefore,this study investigates the mathematical arithmetic ability of elementary school students in the fifth grade of Primary School A in Heze City as an example,so as to analyze the factors influencing the mathematical arithmetic ability of elementary school students and the strategies for cultivating it.First,in the introductory section,this study describes the origin and significance of the study of elementary school students’ mathematical arithmetic ability,compares and reviews the current situation of arithmetic ability and elementary school students’ mathematical arithmetic ability at home and abroad through literature analysis,and clarifies the theoretical basis and concept definition of this study.At the same time,the research content and research ideas of this study are explained.Secondly,in order to understand the current situation of fifth grade students’ mathematical arithmetic ability in Heze A elementary school,this study investigated the current situation of fifth grade students’ mathematical arithmetic ability in the school using the test method,text analysis method and interview method and sorted and analyzed the findings to present the real situation of the development of fifth grade students’ mathematical arithmetic ability in the school.Again,based on the analysis of the survey results,this study proposes that the factors influencing elementary school students’ mathematical arithmetic ability are student factors and teacher factors,where student factors include students’ interest in arithmetic,students’ basic knowledge,students’ arithmetic habits,students’ arithmetic training and gender differences in students,and teacher factors include teachers’ teaching style and teachers’ professionalism.Finally,based on the above influencing factors,this study proposes strategies for cultivating elementary school students’ mathematical arithmetic ability from six aspects: cultivating students’ interest in arithmetic from multiple perspectives,strengthening students’ basic knowledge learning from various aspects,appropriately and effectively cultivating students’ arithmetic habits,scientifically and reasonably developing students’ arithmetic training,improving students’ arithmetic ability according to gender characteristics,and diversifying teachers’ professionalism.Through the above strategies,we hope to provide some references for front-line teachers’ mathematical operations teaching. |
