As an important support for cultivating junior high school students ’ critical thinking ability and core literacy,argumentative articles are compiled into textbooks for teachers and students in all stages of junior and senior high schools.However,in practical teaching,there are some problems in the teaching of argumentative articles,such as mechanically teaching argumentative methods and paying little attention to the value of the reasoning thought of the article itself and the " stylization " of the teaching process.Students cannot really rely on the " argumentation method " they have learned to improve their real speculative ability.This makes it difficult for students to improve their core literacy based on teaching materials.The author believes that there are many reasons for the poor teaching effect of argumentative articles,but the essence lies in the neglect of the teaching value of argumentative articles and their positioning in textbooks.Therefore,the fundamental way to give full play to the teaching value of argumentative articles is to rely on the core literacy of ’ critical thinking ability ’ and implement the teaching of critical expression ability.Among them,’ speculative expression ’ has more specific and practical significance for junior high school students.It is a positive effect on oneself and other objects based on the cultivation or formation of expression ability or accomplishment in the process of logical thinking activities.For the teaching of argumentative articles,it not only fully fits its inherent teaching value,but also promotes the core literacy of junior high school students.It is a necessary ability closely related to students ’ life.After perceiving the current situation of junior middle school Chinese teaching and the research literature,this study analyzes the significance and practical basis of cultivating speculative expression ability in the teaching of argumentative articles.By defining the core concepts of ’ speculative expression ability ’ and ’ argumentative articles ’,this paper discusses the theoretical basis from four aspects : curriculum standard and learning situation,and summarizes the teaching value of this study.Based on the survey results of the author ’s educational probation,the current cultivation of speculative expression in the teaching of Chinese argumentative articles in junior high school has the advantages and disadvantages of attaching importance to speculative teaching and lacking systematic practice and evaluation activities.It is proposed that teachers should design and integrate speculative expression activities based on the unit of the text and the connection between the unit theme,task and other units.Secondly,according to the type of text,we should determine the teaching tasks and methods with different emphases.Then,according to the reasoning method and ideological value of the argumentative article itself,we should lead students to distinguish opinion materials,learn argumentation methods and compare expression styles,so that students can improve their practical ability of speculative expression in the situation of oral communication and communicative writing created by teachers.Teachers should also pay attention to teaching strategies such as evaluation and feedback of students ’ learning results.In a word,this study takes speculative expression ability as one of the important teaching objectives,takes argumentative articles as the teaching content and carrier,re-examines the current junior high school argumentative article teaching,tries to put forward targeted Chinese teaching strategies,and provides effective ideas for optimizing the current teaching situation.
