The educational level reflects the cultural level of a country and society,and the educational model needs to be constantly evolved to adapt to the changes of modern society.The point of education is that person not only learns and uses a variety of information,but also creates valuable program to solve problems.Information literacy is one of the core literacy to meet the requirements of living and learning in an intelligent society.Information literacy assessment for students in junior high school is an important way to accurately understand student’s information literacy level.At present,there are relatively mature information literacy evaluation frameworks and practical researches for K-12 students abroad,such as NAP in Australia,TRAILS in the United States,and ICILS programs in the international arena,etc.However,information literacy evaluation for K-12 students Research in China is still in the stage of slow development,especially for junior high school students,there are few researches on the evaluation of information literacy.Therefore,this research is to develop a set of scientific and reasonable information literacy assessment tools for students in junior high school,and to provide reference for methods and practical research for the information literacy assessment.This research is developed on the basis of the ECD model.First,it clarifies the relevant concepts of information literacy and analyzes the existing research on information literacy evaluation.It focuses on the evaluation purpose and evaluation framework of the foreign information literacy evaluation projects.A systematic analysis was carried out on the structure of the evaluation test questions,which enriched the theoretical research on the evaluation design.In the design process of the evaluation test questions,the research on the index system was carried out in combination with the Chinese information technology curriculum standards.Finally,Based on the commonly used information literacy evaluation indicators in China,a set of information literacy evaluation indicators corresponding to junior high school is designed for the information literacy evaluation tools.In this study,some students of three-grade of No.1 Middle School in S City were selected as the evaluation objects for predictive evaluation,and the Logistic model was used to verify the quality of the second-level and multi-level scoring questions of the predictive evaluation,and some questions were appropriately modified,and finally formed a set of formal information literacy assessment tools containing 34 test questions.According to the results of the prediction evaluation,the difficulty of most of the test questions is at a medium level,the discrimination is good,and the overall information content of the test paper is also large.In the formal evaluation,527 three-grade students from No.1 Middle School in S City were again selected for the test,and SPSS software was used to carry out a correlation analysis on the evaluation data to obtain the information literacy level of students in junior high school and their influences correlation between factors.The research results show that the information literacy assessment tool design is scientific and conforms to effectively measure information literacy ability level for students in junior high school.
