The new curriculum concept requires students to be able to form the habit of independent learning,actively think about problems,and improve their ability to analyze and solve problems.At the same time,teachers are required to update their teaching concepts and teaching methods in a timely manner,and to guide students to master the scientific way of thinking in learning history.From the perspective of subject characteristics,history itself is a comprehensive and regular subject,and historical knowledge is all-embracing.It is a challenge for middle school students to assimilate the history of the past in a short period of time,and it is difficult for students to learn history well if they become resistant to learning at this stage.For this reason,teachers need to find a scientific approach to teaching.The scientific use of inductive and deductive methods can help teachers solve this problem.Therefore,it is worth thinking about and exploring how to systematically use inductive and deductive methods to teach history in a systematic way,so that students can understand,analyze,and thus achieve a coherent learning ability in a short period of time and improve their learning efficiency.By referring to the relevant content requirements of the revised new curriculum standards and based on the relevant reviews of inductive and deductive methods at home and abroad,the thesis determines the purpose and significance of the research of this paper.On this basis,the concepts of inductive and deductive methods are analyzed,and the principles of using inductive and deductive methods in junior high school history teaching are proposed,taking into account the characteristics of history subjects.The author selected two groups of junior high school teachers and students in Z Middle School in Yan’an City as the research subjects,and analyzed the survey data to find out the problems and reasons for the application of inductive and deductive methods in junior high school history teaching.Finally,combining the survey analysis and the author’s actual classroom teaching cases,the author conducts teaching design and practical research on some contents of junior high school history textbooks to explore the strategies of using inductive and deductive methods in junior high school history classroom teaching in order to benefit history teaching.Induction is a common teaching method in junior middle school history classroom teaching,but it rarely involves deductive reasoning of history knowledge.The two are complementary to each other.Learning to use induction and deductive methods to learn historical knowledge in the teaching process is helpful for students to systematically organize the limited knowledge in the textbook,build a three-dimensional knowledge structure,and facilitate students to better understand historical knowledge.For teachers,the application of induction and deduction method in classroom teaching is also highly operable,which is conducive to their own professional development,so as to realize teaching and learning.
