| At the beginning of 2020,in the context of the covid-19 epidemic(hereinafter referred to as“Epidemic”)and other sudden public health events,the sports industry in our country and the world suffered heavy losses,a large number of domestic city marathon events are faced with postponement or suspension,which brings great impact on the development of marathon industry chain.Therefore,in the context of public health emergencies,how to break through the epidemic situation of urban marathon events,to solve the difficulties,scientific and orderly development of urban marathon events is particularly important.This article mainly takes 2020 ～ 2022 Guilin International Marathon as an example to analyze the dilemma and countermeasures of Guilin International Marathon under the background of public health emergencies.Through the use of literature,expert interviews,case analysis,comparative analysis,questionnaire survey,logical analysis of six research methods,based on the analysis of the current situation of the city marathon before and after the public health emergency,this paper puts forward the dilemma of the city marathon,finds out the reasons of the dilemma and puts forward some countermeasures,in order to provide reference for other small and medium-sized city marathon to deal with similar public health emergencies.The study concluded the following:(1)from the comparative analysis of the scale of the events,the number of participants,the number of cities holding the events and the economic output value of the events,it can be seen that the city marathon event before the outbreak of public health emergencies presents a blowout-type development;After the public health emergency,the whole scale of the city marathon shrank,the number of participants dropped sharply,the economic output hit seriously,and the Guilin International Marathon was not spared.(2)under the background of sudden public health events,during the course of running the City Marathon,the competition for resources is fierce,because the epidemic prevention work is complicated and heavy,the quality of epidemic prevention service is not high,the singleness of the race mode makes the economic income of the operators suffer from the impact.During the course of the race,the contestant’s body is damaged and the risk of infection is high,which makes the city marathon very difficult to hold.(3)in the context of public health emergencies,the government has been strict in the examination and approval of sports events,with strong supervision,insufficient attention by the operators,improper epidemic prevention work,the operators have not formed an awareness of the whole industry chain,and the development of derivative industries has been slow,the contestant overestimates own physical quality,the epidemic situation protection consciousness waits for the promotion is the city marathon holds the difficult position the main factor.(4)under the background of Public Health Emergency,the coping strategy of city marathon is to streamline the government approval process,perfect the epidemic prevention guarantee system,strengthen the risk prevention and control awareness of operators,and improve the quality of epidemic prevention and control service,only by raising the awareness of the whole industry chain of the operators,increasing the development of the race derivative industry,strengthening the physical training of the participants and raising their awareness of epidemic prevention can the city marathon be carried out smoothly during the period of public health emergency prevention and control. |
