Research On The Social Value Of The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics

The modern Olympic Games not only have an impact on the host city and the host country,but also have a profound social impact on the whole human society.The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is an important exchange and integration between Eastern civilization and Western civilization,and its social value is worth analyzing and studying.Based on this,this study combines the theories of history,sociology and sports,and uses various research methods such as literature,interview and logical analysis to summarize the expression and generation of the social value of the modern Olympic movement from the perspectives of national image,cultural exchange,cultural education,historical inheritance,Olympic development,economic construction and spiritual civilization.Combined with the relevant policy materials and social impact data of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games,this paper analyzes and discusses the social value of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games from the above aspects,and puts forward the strategies and suggestions(development and utilization)for further exploiting the social value of the2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.The social value of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is studied,and the conclusions are as follows:(1)The international image value of the Beijing Winter Olympics lies in the ability to enhance the national image and international influence,and establish the image of a civilized country,a responsible country and a socialist country through the holding of the Winter Olympics.We will use the opportunity of the Winter Olympics to further consolidate the image of a great power and make "China’s contribution" to world peace and development.(2)The cultural value of the Beijing Winter Olympics lies in the effective communication between Chinese and Western cultures,the creation of new media symbols,the embodiment of deep-rooted cultural confidence,and the improvement of Chinese cultural globalization ability.Then,we will improve the main coordination pattern of government-led,social assistance and public participation,and adopt reasonable resource allocation methods and schemes to promote the sustainable development of the cultural heritage of the Winter Olympics.(3)The economic value of the Beijing Winter Olympics lies in enhancing the direct market economic benefits of the host cities such as Beijing and Zhangjiakou,optimizing the industrial structure of the host cities,driving the rapid development of sports-related industries,and sustaining economic development after the games.Then through scientific planning,scientific and technological innovation,focusing on the development of Winter Olympic talent resources and other sustainable development of Winter Olympic economy.(4)The value of Beijing Winter Olympic Games for the Olympic cause itself lies in enriching the Olympic spirit connotation,making the new Olympic motto more deeply rooted in the people,enriching the idea of hosting the Olympic Games,and more reliable to follow the sustainable goal of hosting the Olympic Games,practicing the concept of green hosting the Olympic Games,sharing the Olympic Games,open hosting the Olympic Games,clean hosting the Olympic Games,and thus promoting the overall development of the modern Olympic movement.We will make use of the legacy of the Winter Olympics venues,and continue to practice sustainable development with low-carbon,ecological and humanistic Olympic experience.(5)The educational value of the Beijing Winter Olympics lies in promoting the development of world citizenship education,and it is also an effective way to educate citizens about national identity.In the future,we will popularize ice and snow sports into the campus,establish demonstration schools with ice and snow characteristics,and carry out Winter Olympic theme activities in schools,so as to give full play to the educational value of the Beijing Winter Olympics.(6)The spiritual value of the Beijing Winter Olympics lies in demonstrating the cohesion of the Chinese nation and sublimating the spirit of the Chinese nation.Further adhere to the Party’s leadership and strengthen the core leading role;Actively expand the discourse space and tell Chinese stories in depth;Firmly establish advanced models,give full play to the leading role of the Winter Olympic spirit,and fully demonstrate the spiritual values of the Beijing Winter Olympics.(7)The value of the Beijing Winter Olympics for the development of sports in China lies in that it can help the national fitness,promote the rapid development of mass sports,help the development of ice and snow events,promote the continuous improvement of competitive sports results,and promote the modernization of school sports through ice and snow into the campus.Then vigorously develop ice and snow sports,consolidate the level of ice and snow competition;Enrich and develop ice and snow sports activities for the masses;To broaden the training channels of ice and snow talents in multiple ways and further promote the development of China’s sports cause.
