Constructing the characteristic education system of geography is the key to cultivating the core literacy of geography.Geography thought includes the thought of man-land relationship,the thought of scale,the thought of integrity and the thought of adjusting measures to local conditions.They play an important role in revealing the essence of the discipline and highlighting the characteristics of the discipline.In recent years,with the introduction of the core literacy of geography,the research on cultivating high school students ’ regional cognitive ability based on the idea of scale has received more and more attention.In order to explore how high school geography textbooks cultivate students ’regional cognitive ability by infiltrating scale thought,and how the two are related,based on the teaching theory and practice of scale thought,this study puts forward the teaching strategy of using scale thought to cultivate high school students ’ regional cognition,in order to provide reference for teachers ’ teaching.This study uses the literature analysis method to sort out and elaborate the connotation and constituent elements of scale thought and regional cognition.Based on cognitive learning theory,geographic system science theory and constructivist learning theory,this paper analyzes the principle knowledge of using scale thought to cultivate students ’ regional cognitive ability,and summarizes the content of scale thought and regional cognition in the geography textbook of senior high school,as well as the internal relationship between the elements.Statistical analysis is used to analyze the results of student questionnaires and teacher interviews to understand the current level of teacher-student scale thinking and regional cognition in geography teaching,and to analyze the existing problems and causes.Based on the above research results,a teaching strategy based on scale thinking to cultivate high school students ’ regional cognitive ability is proposed.The conclusions of this paper are as follows:First,through the analysis of the content of the scale thought and regional cognition in the high school geography textbooks of the People ’s Education Press,it is found that there is an internal relationship between the two,among which the scale division is closely related to the regional location and regional division;scale correlation,scale effect and regional difference,regional characteristic content coincidence is higher;scale deduction is highly correlated with regional development.Secondly,by investigating the current level of students ’ scale thinking and regional cognitive ability,as well as the penetration of scale thinking by teachers in the process of geography teaching,it is found that teachers and students have a relatively simple understanding of the connotation of regional cognition and scale thinking,and students do not know how to use scale thinking to solve regional problems.The reasons for the above problems are: the teacher ’s teaching concept is relatively backward,the subject thought is relatively lacking,the curriculum standard interpretation is not deep enough,the student ’s ’space-region ’ ability is insufficient,but on the whole,the teacher ’s recognition of the scale thought is higher.Thirdly,based on the content analysis of high school geography textbooks and the survey results of teachers and students,this paper puts forward the teaching strategies of using scale thought to cultivate high school students ’ regional cognitive ability: updating teaching concepts and deepening the understanding of connotation;reconstruct the teaching content,penetration scale thought;convert scale level,accurate regional location;according to the characteristics of geographical things at different scales,clear regional division;using scale correlation and effect to explore regional characteristics;based on scale deduction,insight into regional development;optimize the cognition of geographical elements within the scale and establish a regional holistic view.Fourth,according to the proposed strategy,the author designs the teaching of the "coordinated development in the basin " of the high school geography selective compulsory two,and analyzes the feasibility of the teaching design from the perspective of content,method and implementation plan,in order to use the scale thought to cultivate students ’regional cognitive ability. |
